Gaara liked the ways that his siblings and him expressed their love for each other, with food at the top of the list and the occasional playfight ranking second.

They didn't just hand him the food outright, though.

It was spring, and all three Sand Siblings went to Konoha on business. It was the first time since he became Kazekage, and he knew for sure they would not see his favourite food sold anywhere in the Leaf Village.

He adored salted tongue, you see, something which would make most people there nauseous just thinking about it, no matter how polite they were. Temari and Kankuro, thus, came up with a plan behind his back.

They stowed entire bags of the food in their luggage, then left one bag on Gaara's desk in his office.

They were regularly called there, so everytime one sibling found the bag empty-- Gaara never bothered storing such gifts and would begin snacking on them right away-- that sibling would replace the bag on that same night, while he was asleep. As such, the red-head always had a steady supply of his fave food.

Gaara'd long figured out who was giving him all this food and decided to pay them back in the same way.

While on a walk, he spotted a vendor selling his sister's favourite, roasted chestnuts, and a place selling hamburgers, faves of his sister and brother respectively.

Temari and Kankuro had met up one day and showed each other what had been left at their desks.

''I think,'' they laughed in unison, ''That I know who left this!'

A/N: Thought about this while I walked from school, tempted not to eat the bread intended for my brother. He didn't eat it since the filling contained onion, something he disliked, so I got to eat it anyway. Teehee.
