Sweet Consolation
"I'm leaving!"
He stormed out, slamming the door.
This wasn't the first time he left, and it wouldn't be the last.
He'd continue to go any time he felt discomfort. Always blaming her, though it was his insecurities holding back their relationship.
She wasn't sure how much more she could take; every time that door slammed her heart broke a little more.
Sighing, she went to the fridge and reached for the Haagen Daaz. It might not be a good choice for her figure, but it would go a long way in mending the fissures he'd opened in her heart.
