Yo guys. This is just the beginning of this story. If you guys like it I will post the rest of the story and if you don't then I guess I won't post more.

There are just a couple of things I want to say before the story starts. Captain Scarlet is 20 and he is not indestructible. Alex Hurd is a spy working for Spectrum. She is not a captain or anything with a color.

Disclaimer: I do not own Captain Scarlet.

Alex Hurd bolted out of the Mysteron complex. She cried out and fell to her knees as a bullet smashed into her left thigh.

She looked over her shoulder, clutching her leg in her hands, desperately attempting to staunch the blood flow. A man stood in the doorway, holding a gun in his hand. Captain Black.

Alex stood up shakily, limping away from the terrible place. She hoped Spectrum would show up soon. She had contacted them over an hour ago, saying she was going to escape from her captors and she would need a way off of this horrible planet.

Alex had come to Mars a few weeks ago, hoping to get information on the Mysterons. When Captain Black had found her he had locked her up. That was how she had gotten here. Alex had known she'd be hurt trying to escape, but it was better than staying here.

An engine could be heard in the distance and Alex breathed in a sigh of relief as the Spectrum vehicle came over the ridge toward her.

The vehicle stopped a few yards away from her and Captain Scarlet jumped out. He ran toward her, the medics following closely behind.

He held her in his arms, supporting her full weight with his body.

"Paul," Alex whispered, her eyes drifting shut.

"We'll get you back to base. You're going to be fine," Captain Scarlet said.

Alex's eyes shut once again and she slipped into unconsciousness.

This was just the epilogue so it was short.
