Author's Note: First of all, I am certainly not a professional writer and this is honestly my first fanfic. I would understand if there's any negative feedback and comments, but then good reviews are so much appreciated. (Please Review!) It would really do flatter my heart.
Plot & Story Info: Okay; so I never thought that this fanfic would fall under the Vampire Diaries. I honestly haven't read the books, neither watched the series.
Story Build-Up: This one's actually more on poetry, I suppose. Anyway, the plot goes for Elena alone. Hope you'll like it.
NIGHTMARE
Adapted form the story, The Vampire Diaries
by L. J. Smith
It happened to be a very cryptic starry night, and I never thought that this time, I would give up the fight. Flashes are gone and the lights grew no more. And oh, what pain I felt when my body suddenly landed on the floor.
Trying to figure out, I slowly opened my eyes. My body shook nice as the wind blew as cold as ice. Feeling the affliction my slumped body brought, my body stayed robust and undoubtedly fought. Then hair on my skin stood as I heard a very loud scream - an unfamiliar one, and I thought I better should call my team; for it filled the four corners of my vast lurid room and I was starting to get surrounded by a terrifying loom.
I suppose it was the end but the smoke was suddenly gone. The surroundings remained dark and there was no more time to run. I felt like such a hopeless kid for there was no more chance of escape, 'cause all of these times I've been truly very late.
The monster is here, and I was covered with fear. The atmosphere went spooky and everything felt queer. I hold on to myself trying to let out a breath, seriously crying and thinking this isn't a threat.
Then as I stare on those sharp pointed fangs, I realized they could have torn and eaten my lungs. And those gross-smelling blood dripping from its teeth, could have made my heart stupor and lose a beat.
Till the moment came when the monster grabbed me; it held tight of my arm and scratched my knee. I screamed out so loud and raised my head up to see. But what a big surprise when I saw that the creature was actually me.
