Sam finished re-bandaging the burned-open binding lock on his forearm, then glanced at the mirror.
No black eyes stared back at him, a definite plus. It disconcerted him, having this memory gap. Who knew what he'd done?
Dean knew – part of it – but Dean wasn't talking. He wasn't favoring his left arm when he thought Sam couldn't see ...wasn't hunting, just driving, and finding motels to collapse in, nightly.
Maybe Sam could drive, tomorrow? Yeah, right, like anyone'd let him drive now. But...Dean would. Dean would do anything, to help Sam. Even talk about Sam's possession, eventually. Sam could wait.
