Just a short blurb that popped in my head while reading about Abby and Conner stuck in the Cretaceous. Hope it makes you grin.

(The Cretaceous)...
Abby screamed as she felt her feet leave the ground when the spinosaurus snatched her up by the pack she was carrying. Always quick to act she slipped her arms out of the straps and fell back to the ground with a grunt. Conner helped her to her feet and they continued running. The large dinosaur behind barley skipped a beat as he tossed her pack in the air and swallowed it whole.

The paleontologist couldn't help but feel a little worried about his personal mental health when he uncovered the chest cavity and abdomen of the large spinosaurus specimen. There were bits of fabric and other unidentifiable materials here and there. However, the thing that bothered him the most were the granola wrappers, with a patent date of 2005. He merely scratched the back of his head, deposited the items in his truck for safekeeping (surely no one would consider him sane if he showed these items to them) and continued about his job. The world had probably seen weirder things he decided…
