Lumos. The one spell that would always shine up the world in Luna's opinion. It didn't matter to her that it was just a spell; it was a friendly one. Something that would brighten up the world on a dark day, like Ron's Illuminator. It was just that simple; with a swish and flick of a wand and one simple world, part of the world was light. It was simply delightful in her eyes.
"Harry! Did you know that with one simple spell the world can brighten up?" Luna chirped. She pulled on her sock and stared at the boy with the glasses, her grey elegant eyes twinkling.
Harry frowned, dubious, "Luna," he said softly, "What do you mean?" He reached to put his hand on her left shoulder. "Is this a riddle of some sort?"
Luna shook her head, laughing. "Of course not, Harry."
Harry just stared.
"It's Lumos, Harry." Luna finally said, a little distressed.
"That only illuminates the tip of your wand, not the whole world," Harry said, slowly taking his hand off of her shoulder. He felt a slight blush to his cheeks.
Luna smiled, "Yes, but for that one person who's feeling distressed, they can just say the spell and part of their world will brighten up. Even if just for a second." She patted his shoulder. "It's not as strange as you think." With that, she was off to Advanced Potions, her platinum blonde hair bouncing as she walked.
Harry just stood there, amazed.
Truer words were never spoken.
