"What's one thing you miss about her?" asked the reporter.
"Her smile. Her hair. Her wobbly hips. Her as a person." Stated Ryoma with a small smile.
"Does it still hurt?" asked the reporter.
Ryoma simply looked out the window of his home. The fall leaves where falling. Two years have passed.
"No. Why should it?" asked Ryoma as he faced the reporter again.
" A-ah, I'm sorry Mr. Echizen-san. One more question, if there was anything in the world you could do to stop it… would you have done it?" asked the reporter slowly making sure to pick his words carefully.
"Such as?" asked Ryoma.
"Such as, taking your life to save hers." Directly said the reporter.
"No." simply stated Ryoma.
The reporter questioningly looked at him.
"She would have to live with the fact I wasn't there and she was. Unlike her I can handle myself. She was too selfless. That's the one thing I disliked about her." Said a melancholy Ryoma.
"Ah I see Mr. Echizen-san," Sadly said the reporter, "are you sure about your retirement form tennis?"
"No, I'm not sure. But I know I will be fine." Said Ryoma uprightly.
"Thank-you for your time Mr. Echizen-san. I hope you and Sakura have a wonderful life ahead of you." thanked the reporter as he stood up and shaked Ryoma's hand.
"Papa? Can I come in now?" asked a small voice from behind the half opened door.
"Of course you can. Come here." Happily said Ryoma as he reached his arms out.
There from behind the door emerged a small figure dressed in a red dress with two braids dragging on the ground.
Ryoma picked up the small girl and placed her in his lap.
"What's in your hand?" curiously asked Ryoma.
"Mama!" exclaimed the girl happily as she gleefully pointed at the picture of a women who looked just like her.
"Mama…" whispered Ryoma sadly.
"Papa don't cry! You have me!" said the girl as she gently wiped away the tear with her small hand.
"Papa isn't crying, a dust bunny got into my eye." Cockily replied Ryoma.
"Come on Sakura lets go eat." Said Ryoma as he picked up the girl and carried her to the kitchen.
"Hai!" said a happy Sakura.
Arigatou Sakuno for your love. For Sakura. For being my wife. For putting up with my teasing. For those secretive moments between just the two of us. For the kisses before a big game. For holding Karupin properly. Arigatou for being just you.
