Rose petals drifted across the air, landing in a small pile on the ground. Crystals fell across my face, a broken vase a couple of feet away. The magic was over. He was gone. Drew was gone.

Stars danced through the little peephole of the playhouse. I leaned against the walls, too stubborn to go home. It was comforting knowing at least the playground slide hadn't changed, unlike my boyfriend.

Cold mist escaped my lips before disappearing in the bitter winter air. I spoke softly to myself," It's the fifth time that he has gotten drunk. How many more?" My face scrunched up in anger and I punched the metal pole, feeling the pain slither up my spine.

I muttered venomous curses at myself before leaning back against the plastic walls, taking in deep breaths to calm myself. I jumped suddenly, my phone ringing loudly in contrast with the quiet evening.

A shaky gasp fell from my lips and tears flowed down my eyes. Sobs were stuck in my throat, discarded phone next to me.

"May, Can you hear me? Drew just got into a car accident! May! "

A broken girl leans against the pale white walls of her home, pictures spread around her. She lives now in the world of what ifs, the infinite maybes. For, she is too afraid to accept the death of a beautiful blooming rose, a house that is too big for just one, an end of a fairy tale.

So she continues to live in a world of broken memories.

Hello fellow readers. I was sick to day and just had to whip something up. I don't even know how this idea even came. I really didn't edit this so please point out any mistakes so I can fix it. Also, I have no idea if this idea was used before. If it has been, please send me a link to that story and I will try to change mine so I won't be.

As for all who are following Poke Fairy tale I will repeat this one more time. I am taking about half a year off of the story so I can just finish writing it. I hope you guys will stick with me until then. As always, I do not own anything except the plot.

With love to all my reviewers,

Strands of Ivy and Sakura 01/31/13
