I made this story about Dakota, Rain´s mother, from my other story (No, not the pup Dakota, the mom).

Chapter 1:
Dakota before Yellowstone (Canada):
Dakota pushed and pushed on the hard metal box. It was no use. Her pack was running behind the truck for her, the alpha female. She looked for her mate, Harou, in between the metal bars. Once she spotted him, Dakota howled a great howl, and barked with her pack, until the truck went so fast, that their territory markers could no longer be smelt and the pack´s voices could no longer be heard. She sat down and tried to relax, curled up in a little ball, and whined. The quieter she got, the more she could hear whining. It was coming from the box next to her.
30 minutes earlier:
The alpha female gazed across the valley, saw her mate, Harou, hunting with the beta, Titan. She saw the puppies of a couple. The young wolves playing together. Life was great. Suddenly, she heard a distress howl not that far, only a couple of miles. Dakota´s ears perked up and so did the other adult wolves´ by her. After a couple minutes her ears shrunk back down and she looked back down at the hunting. Then, she started to hear something else. It was getting closer, it was fast. The weird thing crunched the gravel below it. Dakota howled for the pack to come, they came fast. She looked down the deserted little road that has not been driven on for decades probably, she thinks. Quick as a mouse, a big red truck went down the deserted road and drove right into their den, out-coming two humans, one with a large mechanism, and the other with a net. She new what nets did. Harou barked loudly next to her and Dakota started to growl.
Hello little wolves. The net man smiled. We are here to take one of you.
The man with the mechanism quickly spoke up, And not any old wolf, a strong female. The men chuckled and started straight for me, and one second later, I was in the net. I scratched at the rope, struggling to pull myself free of it. My pack members barked loudly, Harou even bit the human, HEY! Ow, he said. The mechanism man grabbed me, and shoved me into a metal box. No. Is all I thought.
