-Max's P.O.V.-
I was hyperventilating, trying desperately to breathe. Everything was getting fuzzy, except the pain. I was passing out. Then everything was black.
-Fang's P.O.V.-
It seemed like i was stuck in the darkness for eternity. Then I just woke up. "wha?" Then this strange girl said "Welcome to the Afterlife." She looked at me, then for some reason she shot me in the face. I wake up to someone nudging me with their foot calling me emo. I jumped up and brought my wings out. She look at me with horror and i got shot from behind.
-Max's P.O.V.-
I saw black for so long i thought i would die of boredom. The next thing i know is that i see fang dead lying on the ground. I flew over to him and picked him up. "FANG!" I started crying and then i felt movement. "WHAT THE HECK?!" Then after he yelled, he looked at me then kissed me, just lingering there for a moment. I was shocked.
-Yuri's P.O.V.-
"Uh hello?" They both looked at me then. Then the emo kid said "Why do you have a sniper rifle?" I smiled. "I made it." They both gave me a crazy look and then i heard the girl say "Who is that?" I looked to where she was pointing and she was pointing right at angel. "That is the enemy. Angel." Then the girl started crying. "Why are you crying?" Then emo, or whatever his name is, crawled over to me and whispered about their little sister being named Angel and explained what happened in their real life. "Wait you guys can still remember your previous life?" They looked at me confused. "What? you can't?" I told them that "Once you go to the afterlife, you usually can't remember anything for a while."
-Max's P.O.V.-
This chick is confusing me. I decide to clear my mind with a little flight. I told Fang "I'm going for a little flight around the block." He nodded for me to go. I took off and after like a minute of flying like one lap around the block I felt something hit my chest. I looked down and i got shot in the heart. I was plummeting towards the ground at around 150 mph. I hit the ground and i died right there. What felt like 10 years i woke up in a bed, in an infirmary? But the first thing i see is fang holding my hand, laying on my lap. He opened his eyes and smiled brightly. "Am i dead?" Fang actually laughed at it. "No, but you did die." I jumped in in bed. "WHAT?"
-Fang's P.O.V.-
"Yeah you died for like a day." The look on her face was scared looking. "Don't worry about it though. You technically can't die." She looked so confused now. "Max, you remember what the girl said about Afterlife?" Her face and tone got lighter. "yeah, she said welcome to the afterlife. what about it?" "Well in the afterlife you can't die. Like you can die but you come back to life. Want me to explain everything about this place?" Her eyes light up a little and she pulled me closer to her. "I would love for you to explain it." I smiled some but not just because she is happy but because we are so close. "This place, the Afterlife. It's a place you go to if you die and give everything up after having a bad childhood." She smiled a little, i don't know why but i got a butterfly in my stomach. "The only problem is that the girl on the field earlier, we have to fight her." "Why?" She looked sad now. I'm never going to understand women. "We have to fight her to stay alive Max. If we don't, well we don't know what will happen." I couldn't read the expression on her face now. She laid back down after that. "Fang why? Why do we have to still fight?"
