I suppose it is possible to make a forbidden relationship work out…

Harry stared at the wall. It wasn't anything extremely interesting, it was just a plain white wall. But when there is nothing to see, you daydream. And when you daydream, the white wall becomes filled with someone… and for Harry Potter, that someone was Luna Lovegood.

Hermione stared at the wall. Walls are just walls, usually. But this wall, this particular wall, was her wall. The wall that she discovered, the one that recorded her secrets, her dreams, and played them back to her every time she looked at it. It was a secret that no one knew about, a spell hidden in the back of a book in the Restricted section, a blank wall in the Room of Requirements that only she could find. And today, she was recording a new daydream. A daydream about Draco Malfoy.

Ginny stared at the wall. She was supposed to be doing her Potions homework, but every word reminded her of the person who taught Potions. Walls were probably made to stare at. They didn't care. And if you knew the right people, they would help you through tricky problems. This wall, for instance, was the embodiment of a person who would never truly love Ginny. Ginny was in love. It was a forbidden love, one that never could be. And for two reasons: 1) If her friends found out, they would be repulsed. 2) And so would the little part of her brain that was still clinging to sanity, for being in love with Professor Severus Snape.

Seamus Finnegan stared at the wall. The wall that she was leaning against, talking to her friends. He could never hope to get a girl anywhere near her beauty. But he could daydream about her. And once, maybe, at a party, when she was getting drunk with the other Gryffindors, he could do more than daydream. She was one of the few girls in Gryffindor who would drink more than water and Butterbeer at parties. Oh, Seamus Finnegan wanted Lavender Brown. Ditzy, sweet, blonde Lavender Brown.

Draco Malfoy stared at Ginny Weasley. Why didn't she stare at him like she stared at… at… who did she stare at? He couldn't tell. He'd never truly noticed. He was probably just worried that every girl in the whole school didn't like him. Well, there was one other… Hermione Granger. She avoided his gaze like it was made of fire. She avoided HIM like he was going to kill her. Strangle her. Weird.

Ronald Weasley stared at her. Harry's old girlfriend. It hurt to look at her, but how could he not? She was so beautiful. And whenever she cried, it was like he had to comfort her at all costs. How could Ron have possibly fallen in love with Cho Chang?
