A/N: The Unconventional series was planned prior to ep 83 airing, so it may not follow the storyline exactly. Parts one (Unconventional), two (An Unconventional Friendship) and three (An Unconventional Shower) are not necessary to understand this. Not technically canonballed yet since we don't know what Lydia's reaction to the sex tape is.

Summary: Lydia has something to tell Lizzie about the fate of George Wickham.

"An Unconventional Admission"

"So," Lizzie started, addressing the camera she had set back up in her bedroom at home, "Thank you all for your well-wishes. I've given them all to Lydia, and she says thank you as well. She's out of the hospital now, so that's good.

"My name is Lizzie Bennet, and by the time you see Monday's episode, I will be back at Pemberley Digital.

"Barring an unforeseen circumstance, of course. I've talked to Lydia about it, and she understands. Dr. Gardiner granted me an extension on finishing my shadowing at Pemberley until Lydia was out of the hospital, but I do need to go back and finish if I want to graduate on time. Unless Lydia asks me to stay and in that case, sorry, Dr. Gardiner."

"Lizzie?" Lizzie jumped at the sound of her sister's voice from behind her.

"Lydia," she said guiding her sister down to sit next to her. "I didn't hear you come in."

"Sorry."

"No, no, don't be. It's fine. Everyone's happy to see you, I'm sure. Or – do you want me to turn off the camera?"

"No, actually I have something that I want to say to you and to them." Lizzie smiled encouragingly at her baby sister who was looking unnaturally unsure of herself. "So… um… I'm not supposed to say anything, but… I thought you should know."

"Know what?"

Lydia bit her. "He made me promise…"

"Who?" Lizzie asked, suddenly sharp.

"Darcy." Lizzie blinked rapidly in surprise. So not who she was expecting. "He visited me in the hospital."

"Oh. Well, yeah, I know he's been staying at Netherfield with Bing – Jane told me. Why would he make you promise not to tell me that he visited you in the hospital?"

"Because of what he said when he was there." Lydia pulled out a folded up piece of computer paper, which she turned over and over in her hands as she spoke. "He… he came to see how I was and to… he… he found Wi-wickham."

Lizzie was never as still as she was while she listened to Lydia.

"He said that he made sure Wickham would never bother us again."

"How… could…?" Lydia thrust the paper at Lizzie who unfolded it and began to read.

"Darcy said that it's definitely legally binding and his lawyer has the original, so if Wickham ever comes around again, he would press for it if we asked him to."

Lizzie was fairly certain the mic would pick up her hammering heart. "But… there's no way Wickham would ever be able to pay this off."

"It would bankrupt him for the rest of his life; Darcy said he 'wouldn't survive it.'"

"How did he get Wickham to sign this?"

"He didn't mention his methods… on camera."

"Oh."

"And that's not all."

"There's more?"

"I heard Dad telling Mom that when he went to talk to the bill people at the hospital to work out a payment plan… there was no bill."

"What do you mean there was no bill?"

"I mean someone had already paid it."

"And we're not thinking that it was our stellar insurance?" Lizzie let out a deep breath.

"Anyway. I thought you should know. So… bye." With a quick wave to the camera, Lydia was gone.

Lizzie looked at the blinking red dot, trying to find the words to say. But she could feel the tears welling up behind her eyes. She leaned forward and turned off the camera.
