Eragon asked Brom "Did you know my mother?"
"As a matter of fact I did, she was a kind and gentle person and always helped those less fortunate them her." Stated Brom
"Then do you know who my father is?" inquired Eragon
Brom took a sharp intake of breath as he though of what to say. Eragon might run away if he said it outright so he formed another plan "Eka eddyr onr Farthen, I believe." He finally said.
"What that's not a real name is it?" asked Eragon.
'That's not his name but who he is, you are a Dragon rider yet people do not call you that. You asked who he was and I told you."
"Fine then, what is the name of my father?" Eragon asked rather peeved
Brom was about to distract Eragon in order for him to forget the question when Saphira did it for him. Eragon, Urgals!

Eragon tried to wipe away the tears as Brom gave him his blessings. Little did he know that four of the seven words that Brom gave him would turn the tides of the war by bringing his father back. Brom didn't even know till 4 years later when he broke out of his diamond tomb with Eragon, Saphira, Arya and Roran standing there gazing down at him dumb founded as Eragon whispered "Father?"
