Chapter 2
Magic, Curses, and Demons
Hanna was following Kagome as they walked down a trail in the dense forest. Trees surround them and the blue sky was barely visible from the tall trees. "Where exactly are we going, Kagome."
"We are going into town to meet everyone. I told them to meet me in a small village not far from here."
"Like how far away are we talking about?"
"We are almost there right now. In fact there it is." Kagome points to a street with a bunch of people walking around. Small buildings in the form of huts lay along the side. Tons of kids were playing in the streets and watching wagons carry food into the town hoping they would make a good trade. Hanna had at this point clarified that she was definitely in ancient China.
"There they are. Come on Hanna. I found them."
Kagome walks over to a bunch of weird looking people standing by an empty. "Hanna, this is Inuyasha."
"Hello Hanna."
"Hey." Hanna stared at his small dog like ears and wondered if they were even real. Kagome said they were but she still didn't believe her.
"If you are wondering if my ears are real, they are. I am half demon so I may have a normal human but I have demon similarities, like my ears."
"This is Shippo. He's a fox demon." Said Kagome as Shippo walks forward towards Hanna.
"Hello Hanna."
"Hey, you're so adorable."
"Hey, don't call me that!"
"I'm sorry. I didn't know that would offend you."
"And this is Miroku. The Buddhist monk I told you about."
"Hello Hanna." Miroku kisses Hanna's hand sweetly. Hanna starts to blush.
"Hello. Kagome told me so much about you, but didn't say anything about you being so handsome."
"There is a bunch of things she didn't tell you about me I can assure you of that."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Let's save that story for another time. Right now we have a problem."
