Start Over Again.

People say that there are second chances,
But you never let me be with you for a couple of dances.
Forgiveness was an accident though,
Now we can't even pass by each other just to say hello.
I can maybe explain,
Can I just start over again?
I've made mistakes in the past,
I think I have fixed them at last.
My life may have not been as clear,
But I can tell you this,
My heart is starting to disappear.
I can endure the pain,
Can I just start over again?
I spent some lonely nights walking on the streets,
And I also faced some defeats.
I decided that I would escape the violence,
The darkness has been too tense.
At least my common sense still remains.
Can I just start over again?
Someday I will open up to you,
First we need to start from step one to step two.
I know that you trust me,
I'll tell you the truth and that's a guarantee.
Can I just start over again?
If so, the clouds will become a castle in Spain.
