The Workout
Emily and Lia had just finished their kickboxing class at the gym. They were ready to leave when they saw Matt, Frank and Duff coming in. Apparently, ready to work out and have a little competition of strength. The guys had not seen the women yet so Emily and Lia decided to have some fun. They followed the guys up the stairs and into the large workout room where they had all kinds of weight machines and items like elliptical and treadmills. Matt walked over to the free weights and began doing bicep curls. Frank and Duff tried out some of their favorite machines. Emily and Lia got on treadmills where they would have a good view of everything going on in the large room. Emily and Lia were not the only women to take notice of the good-looking guys in the corner. They remained quiet as they listened to the other women around them.
"Did you see that guy? He is so hot!"
"Which one? I'd like to see him with his shirt off."
"The dark-haired one. Look at his arms!"
"I like the other one. He looks Hispanic. I've always had a thing for men from other countries."
"The tall one seems to be fun to be around. They're all laughing now.
As they listened to this conversation, Emily and Lia decided to have some fun. Emily sent a text message to Matt telling him to look at the treadmills. Matt glanced up seeing her and Lia smiling. He nodded in response before getting Frank and Duff's attention and having them look over to where the ladies were. After the three men gave an approving glance, Emily and Lia began discussing them just as the other women had.
"Hey Lia, did you see that, they were checking us out."
"I know. It would be hard to choose. They are so hot. There are three of them, but only two of us."
"Well, I guess we need to call someone to meet up with us if we get the chance to talk to them." Emily said trying not to laugh at their little scheme.
"Well, Rachel already has a date. What about Hannah? She'll let us have first choice." Lia stated holding in a laugh.
The women on each side of them were also plotting. They were plotting a way to get the attention of these handsome men. The woman directly next to Lia spoke boldly, "What makes you think they'd be interested in you? They could have been looking at me."
Lia countered, "Look at us, we're hot. They're hot. We'd be a perfect match."
At this point, Matt walked over to where Emily was.
"Hey." He said shyly with a little grin that made Emily weak in the knees.
"Hey." She replied smiling at him and batting her eyelashes to let him know she wanted to play a game.
"I saw you over here and had to come and see if you were as beautiful up close as you were from a distance. I'm Matt by the way." He said a little more confident as she gave him an encouraging grin.
"Well Matt, What was your conclusion?" Emily asked biting her bottom lip.
" I think you're absolutely gorgeous. I can think of a better way to workout if you care to join me." He grinned as he leaned on the electronic monitor of her treadmill.
"It's a good thing I think you're hot." Emily said getting of the treadmill and kissing him deeply. He slipped his hand down to her thigh before lifting her so that she could wrap her legs around his waist. Frank and Duff came over as they broke the kiss.
"Get a room." Frank shouted as Duff let out a loud whistle before taking Lia's hand and leading her away. The small group walked away together when Lia stopped and turned around and said, "See I told you they were checking us out."
Matt and Emily left to enjoy another type of workout while Frank, Duff and Lia went home before going out to dinner.
