White Leopard groaned and rubbed her head and the world spun around her. The akumatised victim, a young girl named Black Lilac was on a murderous rampage across Paris. White Leopard, Ladybug and Chat Noir were having trouble containing her. A black gloved hand reached out to lift her up. "You ok there?" Chat Noir asked. "Yeah … I think so…" She rubbed the small bump forming on her head gingerly.
I'm definitely going to have some pretty bruises after this. She thought.
She reached for her silver whip and jumped to her feet, lashing to a chimney and pulling herself up onto the roof.
Ladybug yelled "Lucky Charm!" and a small photo appeared. "What am I supposed to do with this?" Ladybug asked, puzzled.
White Leopard shrugged and followed Chat Noir towards Black Lilac for another attack. They charged at the center pod, a human-like figure that had green-tinted skin, glassy-white orbs for eyes and soft brown petals that surrounded her head like a crown. As they crept sneakily across the rooftops, Black Lilac whirled around and raced them, a snarl on her face.
"YOU!" She screamed and the trio stopped in fear.
"YOU HURT ME! NOW YOU'LL PAY!" The girl lashed out at them, the vines like sharp daggers.
They dodged the vines, White Leopard replacing her whip for her small throwing knives, Chat Noir bounding across the green weapons as if they were simple hurdles. White Leopard glanced back at Ladybug who had a panic-stricken look on her face, the vines hissing and backing her into a chimney.
"LADYBUG! Cat slash!" White Leopard roared, racing at the vines and slicing them, sliding in front of her friend and growling violently. "DON'T TOUCH HER!" She roared, slicing any vines that got close with her silver claws to dust.
" , run! Use the Lucky Charm! I'll hold them off!" She said, hoisting Ladybug with her hands onto the roof above. She had turned around and dropped her weapon and when White Leopard turned back around her arms and legs were snagged in tight vines.
"Leo!" Ladybug yelled.
"JUST RUN!" She screamed.
Ladybug obeyed, but not before nodding a small smile.
The vines tightened and one snagged her neck, cutting her air supply. Her head sagged down, unconscious as the vines carried her back to their leader.
Chat Noir bounded up to Ladybug.
"Chat! A-" Ladybug was silenced by a tight bone-crushing hug from Chat Noir and a peck on the cheek. "My lady! Thank god you're ok!" He peeked over her shoulder. "Where's White Leopard?" He asked and Ladybug sniffed. "She - sacrificed herself - for me."
"Oh." Chat murmured as Ladybug started to sob, and he stroked her hair soothingly. "We'll find her, don't worry."
