Odd's POV:
We're in the same room, in the same bed, I literally can't get any physically closer to him, yet I feel so far away from him. He tightens his grip on me, but it wasn't the good kind of tight. I can see tears rolling down his checks.
"Ulrich, what's wrong?" I whisper. But I know he can't hear me because sleep had already over come him five hours ago. So I just snuggle up to him some more, we only have about fifteen more minutes, so might as well use them wisely.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
He got up to turn off the alarm and stretch.
"Odd, wake up we're going to be late to Mrs. Hertz's class" he said softly shaking me lightly.
"mmmhhhmmm" I moaned sleepily.
"Come on Odd!"
"Yeah, yeah okay"
He just looked at me smirk on his face, gentleness in his eyes. I got up and walked over to Ulrich, wrapping my arms around his neck as he snaked his arms around my waist pulling me in close. But I pull away a little bit, still holding him.
"Hey Ulrich?"
"Yes?"
"May I ask you a question?"
"Sure, I guess?"
"Why were you crying last night?"
" ~sigh~ you really want to know?"
"Yes Ulrich I was worried about you."
"Odd don't be worried about me… it was nothing serious… I just got a relly sharp pain in my ankle that I hurt playing soccer yesterday that's all" he said with a small smile on his face and gently kissed me on the lips.
"Come on Odd we'll be late" he grabbed my hand and we walked to Mrs. Hertz's class.
After all of our classes he took my hand again and guided me to our shared dorm. He closed and locked the door behind him before taking both of my hands and pulling me in close, kissing me sweet and gently on the lips. He slowly moved to my neck, I blushed. This isn't the first time he's done this, but it is the first time his hands began to explore my hips and back.
His hands slid down my back and under my shirt. His hands were ice cold. I slid my hands under his shirt feeling his abs, they were ice cold too.
"Ulrich, do you feel okay?"
"yes, why?"
"Your ice cold"
"Well, maybe you could warm me up" he said with a devilish, yet gentle smile, determination and subtleness in his warm, brown eyes. I blushed as he guided me backwards onto his bed as we fall onto the mattress.
And let's just say that I didn't feel so far away from him that night.
