I know I need to work on my other story, but this won't leave my mind and I updated today. I keep on reading fanfics of when Naruto becomes a genin and does the eraser over the door trick and can't help but wonder, 'Naruto is suppose to be a trickster genius. He can trick the ANBU. Why can't he think of anything better for a trick on a late sensei on one of the most important days of his life.' This is my solution.
I do not own Naruto.
"Naruto just sit down," Sakura yelled to Naruto.
"I don't want to. Why is our teacher the only one that is late," Naruto said as he was walking around the room with no visible goal in mind, "I'm ready to roll. The other students have already met with their senseis and are out on an adventure or something. Even Iruka-sensei has left." Naruto whined some more.
"I know okay," Sakura said as she noticed Naruto wedged an eraser between the door and its frame. Sasuke continued to sit quietly, but he was beginning to get annoyed. "You're asking for trouble," Sakura said as she began to reprimand Naruto. Naruto just laughed it off as Sasuke cut her off.
Our teacher is a jounin, an elite ninja. Do you think he would fall for that?" Sasuke asked. At that moment a hand began to open the door. The hand belonged to a scarecrow like human. The eraser missed his head easily. When the jounin was about to tell them all he hated them he was hit in the face by balloon like kunai and shuriken that had glue and feathers in them respectfully.
Hm, that was actually a decent trap. If they somehow manage to pass I am going to have to teach that kid in the orange how to build traps to keep him out of my hair so I can focus on Sasuke. I just have to figure out what to do with the girl. I know I will have her stalk Sasuke during training and say that I am working on her tracking skills and his skills at being discreet. The rest of the time I'll have her do push ups or something. The scarecrow, Kakashi thought. When he looked down he noticed the thinnest line attached to the eraser.
Is he really a jounin and when did Naruto set up that trap? Sasuke thought.
That guy looks mad. Sakura thought.
He fell for it. I can't believe he fell for it. Naruto thought as he was rolling on the floor laughing.
"My first impression of you three is that… you're a bunch of idiots," Kakashi-sensei said to them before he told them to meet him on the roof and poofed out of existence.
I know that trick was not any better, but at least it was less obvious. For those that watch Naruto in English I could not make Naruto say 'Believe it.' Please review.
