COULD HAVE
"Reality is not always probable, or likely."
Jorge Luis Borges
One could have said JJ was woken up by the first sunrays tickling her face, but - as so often - reality had much less romantic plans... In fact, Jennifer Jareau woke up because her head felt like it was exploding, and as if having the worst hangover of her life wasn't enough, she didn't have any clue where she was - at least it was not her bed she was lying in, that's what she was - hungover or not - sure of...
Forcing herself to keep her eyes open, she examined the room she was in. Cream-white walls, noble, antique-looking furniture, light-brown curtains... Everything looked familiar to her, but she still didn't know why. The only thing she did know at the moment was that she didn't feel uncomfortable - except for the headache, of course - but this mattress was heaven - soft, comfy and ... furry?
JJ immediately withdrew her feet from the hairy something they had been nestled in.
*What the hell?* The something had just clawed her! Mortally scared, she pulled the blanket off the bed, although she was not sure whether she even wanted to know what was underneath.
*Sergio!*
The cat jumped off the bed with an offended *MEOW*, before he wormed his way through the ajar door, probably trying to find a place to sleep unmolestedly.
This could have been the point of time where JJ could have started laughing before getting up to have a nice hangover breakfast with Emily, in whose condo she obviously was, but once again, reality didn't give a damn about all those nice, cute and funny could-haves.
After having gotten rid of the blanked, JJ's focus had immediately been removed from Sergio's to her own body. Her own, very, very, very exposed body...
And as soon as her hungover brain had realized she was completely naked, JJ screamed out, totally shocked by the could-haves racing through her mind now...
