okay the story is mine...well actually it is a small bit of fluff, but that's besides the point...
imagine your favorite couple, and instead of 'he' or 'she' replace them with the names. let's start...^_^
"Why?!" she exclaimed at the top of her lungs. Which sent his ears reeling, but he never made a move. "I have to, or all we know will be destroyed." He hung his head down, "You have to believe in me." He then looked into her watery eyes and was about to speak, when she did first. "Why? Why do you do this to me? Everytime you leave me, it hurts. Because, I...I might loose the one I...." her voice slowly faded "...love." her voice was barely above a whisper. His eyes widened, never before has anyone cared for him. He thought, because of their constant fighting, that they would never begin to like each other. That the love he felt for her would never be given in return. He was wrong. But he was glad of this. He watched as tears began to fall down her pink-tinted cheeks. He reached for her chin and wiped the tears away gently with his thumb. He unconsiously moved closer to her, his eyes closed as he moved his lips closer to hers. She felt her eyes close as well and she also, unconsiously, began to edge forward. As their lips brushed each others, an explosion sounded loudly in the background. Surprised at what they were doing at a time like this, they both jerked back, both revealing crimson-tinted cheeks.
"I...I should probably go now. I will miss you, though." he gave her a genuine smile. Which was rare for him. She surpressed her shocked look and gave him a small smile, "Me too." After a few uneasy moments, he turned around and took off onward towards the battle.
She touched her lips. She watched him as he ran off. Her shocked look that had been surpressed, had eased itself away and the smile she wore stayed. "He'll come back. I just know it."
