"What is your decision, Barry?" Cecile Horton asked, after the failed attempt of sharing the photo of Marlize DeVoe kissing Dominic Lanse. He looked over at her, then back at his friends and family in the audience. Looking back at Cecile, he took a deep breath before looking at the judge.

"I'll do it, I'll testify," Barry Allen answered. He looked over at Cecile, who was smiling gratefully before she stood up.

"Your Honor, I'd like to call someone to the stand," She claimed.

"You may proceed, Miss Horton," The judge said.

"I'd like to call Barry Allen to the stand," Cecile said, as Barry rose to take his place in the witnesses box.

"Mr. Allen, it has come to my belief that you recently got married, is this true?" Cecile asked.

"Yes, it is," Barry confirmed, a bit confused as to why he was asked this.

"Congratulations. I'd like to ask, why were you late, those 72 times, to work?"

"I was late because I've been dealing with the metahumans terrorizing Central City. Also, I spend a lot of free time at STAR Labs, with my team," Barry explained.

"Okay, then what about your unannounced leave of absences that last months at a time?" Cecile asked.

"Uh, well I was trapped, by the same place both times. A place is known as the speed force. The latest was because of the imbalance to the speed force," Barry explained to the court.

"You say, you spend your free time at STAR Labs with a team? What are you doing with this team?"

"Strategizing to take down the speedsters I listed earlier, it takes more time than you think."

"Thank you, Mr. Allen, no more questions," Cecile concluded. Mr. Slater cleared his throat.

"So you claim to take down speedsters who are much faster than you, how would you do this? Do you help the Flash plan and strategize?" Slater asked.

"Uh," Barry chuckles nervously "kind of. It's more like the Flash and I are one in the same."

"Are you saying you are the Flash?" Slater asked for the confused jury.

"Yes. I am," Barry said.

"I'd like to see some sort of proof that you are who you claim to be."

"Sure," Barry said, before phasing through the witnesses box and running around the room, making it to STAR Labs to put his suit on and sit back down in the box, mask down.

"Uh, ok. Um, what was your relationship with Mr. DeVoe, from your perspective," He asked.

"The same night I, uh, got my powers, when the particle accelerator exploded, DeVoe received powers too. Uh, his were different, however. His, uh, his intellect became more advanced than before, and faster. To the point where he, um, figured out how to move his consciousness to another host body. He used all of the villains I've faced in the past year, and me, as pawns in a game none of us knew we were playing. The man in the picture of Mrs. DeVoe, Mr. Lanse, is his first switch. DeVoe framed me, in order to do what, I have no idea. It's all part of his twisted game," Barry explained.

"Where is your proof that Mr. Lanse is who you claim he is?" Slater asked.

"Uh, can you access previous phone calls? Like, listen to the conversation that had already happened?" Slater nodded. "Then here," Barry said handing over his phone, after pulling up the call. "I received the call minutes before I discovered DeVoe's body lying behind my couch."

Slater plugged the phone into a speaker after hacking the conversation. They all heard the entire conversation that Barry had with Lanse/DeVoe that an hour later, Barry was evicted as innocent and let free to deal with the crowd of paparazzi and fans waiting outside the building for their superhero.
