A/N: First off, I have NOT given up on Only You, I just needed a little break. c: Second, this was made out of pure boredom...so enjoy ! :D
Disclaimer: If I owned Common Law, Wes and Travis would be living together, happily married, with two adopted kids, and so in love, everyone goes crazy. All of that in 1 season...so no, I own nothing. ):
"Travis, what is that around your neck?"
Looking down, Travis spotted the shiny silver sun dangling from his neck. Did he really forget to take it off before therapy? He was always extra careful when it came to the gift his boyfriend gave him.
Yes, his boyfriend.
The same boyfriend who happened to be sitting next to him, glaring a giant hole through his head. If looks could kill...
"What, this thing?" He lifted up the small chain, as if it was nothing. "It's just a gift."
"May I ask who it was from?" Dr. Ryan asked, eyes fully focused on Travis, along with the others in the therapy group.
"Yeah, Travis why don't you tell her who?" That was Wes who, in reality, was saying 'tell her who, and I'll shove your chair down your throat.'
Travis liked his chair under him, thank you very much. And so, he did what he did best.
Lied his ass off.
"I would," Travis hesitated a bit. "but I don't think I'm ready to tell anyone yet..." His faced looked as if someone just killed his best friend.
Damn, he was good!
"The person who gave it to me is just so special to me," he gave a quick, knowing glance at Wes before he continued. "and as much as I want to tell you, that person wouldn't like that."
While the women of the therapy group 'awwh'-ed at the smiling man, the men simply nodded their heads, understanding completely.
Well except for Peter.
"Oh come on!" He pleaded, "can't you just tell us? It will be our little secret!"
Travis smiled at the eager man.
"I would, but I just ca-"
"It's because she's ugly, huh?"
"Okay, that's enough, Peter!" That was Dakota, finally getting her husband to shut up. While Travis was trying desperately to hold in his laughter, Wes was silently fuming beside him. He didn't want to tell anyone yet, but this was beginning to bother him.
"And what about Wes?" Dr. Ryan continued. "Does he know who it is?"
Wes stopped glaring wholes through everyone in the room to look up at the therapist who had just mentioned his name.
"Of course he knows. He's my partner." The way he said partner was a little more than suggestive, but only Wes had caught that. At this point, with everyone pestering them, Wes was fed up. Without thinking, he did the unexpected.
Turning his body to face Travis, he held his face and kissed him. The room was suddenly quiet. As the kiss got deeper, Wes pulled away before they got too carried away.
Travis didn't give a damn.
As soon as Wes pulled away, he pulled him right back in. This kiss was a little longer but once Travis was satisfied, he pulled away, remembering where they were. A flushed Wes turned back around in his chair and didn't dare look anyone in the eyes.
Travis was sooooo dead.
With that charming smile and sparkling eyes of his, Travis looked at the shocked faces around the room. "I told you he knew."
That was all he said before he was bombarded with questions about their relationship. As happy as Wes was about all of their approval...
Travis was still a dead man.
A/N: Tadaa ! Hahaa, poor Travis. (x lol. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed and please review! :D
