Some Wounds Run Deep

"Dean, man, calm down, will you? You're gonna hyperventilate. It's just a scratch." Sam gripped his brother's shoulder.
"It's NOT just a scratch! Someone keyed my car, Sam. My CAR!" A tight band circled his chest as Dean stared at the long furrow running the length of the Impala. "A scratch like that leads to rust. Rust means…" Nausea churned in his belly. "We gotta go get her fixed…like right now!"
"Dean, it's midnight. It'll have to wait until morning."
Dean ran his fingers over the marred paint. "You think she'll be okay?"
"She'll…I mean…IT will be fine. I promise."
