''There are too many Null Guardians!'' Helen exclaimed as the creatures attacked her in the Null Void. She used her tail to strike a Null Guardian. She smiled after the creature collapsed. Helen viewed Manny and Pierce attacking D'Void. Her eyes became wide as soon as D'Void dodged Pierce's kick. *D'Void is too fast* she thought.
Helen smiled again. *I'm fast as well.* She proceeded to roll to D'Void.
Grinning, D'Void seized Helen's throat before he lifted her.
Helen's eyes became bigger another time.
Manny and Pierce gasped. ''Helen!'' they exclaimed at the same time.
''You will never defeat me,'' D'Void said to Pierce, Helen, and Manny. He threw Helen into Manny before the latter caught her.
''The Null Void will always belong to me.'' His grin stretched from ear to ear.
Manny released Helen. Scowling, he faced D'Void. ''You are going to die for harming Helen.'' Three hands formed fists.
After gasping, Helen frowned at Manny. ''We are going to arrest D'Void,'' she said.
''D'Void won't be able to conquer the Null Void if he is buried,'' Manny said to Helen.
''Our enemy should be in a cell,'' Pierce said. He frowned at Manny. Pierce dodged a Null Guardian after it almost bit his arm.
''The other rebels will end your life, D'Void,'' Manny said.
D'Void's grin remained. ''I don't see the other rebels. Perhaps my pet Null Guardians devoured them.''
''The other freedom fighters will arrive,'' Manny informed D'Void.
Pierce's kick caused a Null Guardian to collapse. He saw a sudden scowl on D'Void's face. Frowning, he stepped back.
*I will protect Helen and Manny* Pierce thought.
Manny aimed two weapons at D'Void before he fired. His eyes were on D'Void as lasers from his weapons knocked the latter back.
D'Void winced. He collapsed on his hands and knees. He glowered at Manny.
The Null Guardians snarled and screeched near the injured villain. They pursued Manny.
Pierce and Helen gasped at the same time.
''Manny!'' Helen exclaimed.
Still wishing to protect Manny, Pierce ran before Helen touched his shoulder. He glanced at Helen. ''I have to protect Manny,'' he said.
Pierce saw the return of Helen's frown.
''Let's take D'Void to our place and heal him. It's not right to abandon a wounded man. D'Void will be in a cell after he is healed.
Manny is able to flee from the Null Guardians,'' Helen said.
Pierce glanced from Helen to D'Void. His shoulders slumped. ''Very well,'' he said.
D'Void still scowled as Helen and Pierce took his arms. Another grin appeared on his face. ''My pets are going to tear your friend apart.''
Pierce and Helen never said anything. They took D'Void into their home. They placed him on the floor.
''Maybe we should conceal D'Void,'' Helen said with a thoughtful expression. She placed a hand under her face. ''Manny will tear D'Void apart if he sees him in his home.''
''My pets might end your friend's life,'' D'Void said to Helen.
Pierce began to glower at D'Void.
Helen and Pierce gasped as soon as Manny entered their home. They saw D'Void's sudden confused expression.
''In case you are wondering about the Null Guardians, they are still searching for me,'' Manny said to Pierce and Helen.
''You hid in a cave?'' Pierce asked with wide eyes.
''How did you know?'' Manny asked.
Pierce shrugged. ''Lucky guess,'' he said.
Manny saw D'Void before he scowled again. ''Why are you in my home?'' he asked as he squinted.
''Pierce and I are going to heal D'Void,'' Helen said.
''D'Void is still going to prison,'' Pierce said.
''Don't mention D'Void's location if we see the other rebels. They will kill D'Void if they see him,'' Helen said.
Manny concentrated on D'Void. After grinning, he ran and searched for the other freedom fighters.
