HERE is the Trailer Chapter for my BRAND NEW Fanfiction, this is a chapter 0 of sorts, not a prologue but more of a trailer.
With that out of the way, let's get RIGHT into it!
A small life raft floats through the ocean, no land around for hundreds of miles. And on that life raft lay Toothless.
*I know you can't hear me, Hiccup...I haven't seen you in weeks...* Toothless mumbled in Dragonese before coughing.
*Hiccup, please don't feel bad about...my situation. I know you can't hear but...please don't. Part of life is the ending* Toothless said and then coughed loudly, his throat and mouth dry while his stomach growled louder than the Red Death.
*Just for the record, being adrift in the sea with zero hope of survival is more fun than it sounds. At least the Twins haven't talked me to death* Toothless said and then coughed again, looking out over the water.
*Food and water ran out around a week ago, and my leg is not healing properly, which could lead to infection and possible death. And I'm beating it by talking as if you were actually here. I can't catch fish from these waters, and the water is too salty for even me to drink* Toothless moaned and curled one of his paws around his stomach.
*But, when I drift into...the void of death...I will dream about you...and Berk...and all the fun times we had as best friends and family. Miss yah* Toothless moaned and then curled up, using his wings as a blanket to hide his horribly scrawny body.
Berk was burning to ash. The Dragon Hunters had invaded and the Dragon Riders lay, defeated, in the Great Hall, which was a shell of its former self.
"This group of 'dragon riders' was so fun to fight, but now we must really get to business, shouldn't we brother?" Viggo said and Ryker laughed.
"After I kill one of them," Ryker said and Viggo's eyes scanned over the group before landing on Hiccup, who was trying to stand up painfully.
Toothless screeched to a halt mid-air as a metal shield nearly hit him but intentionally missed.
Toothless hit the ground with a groan, and the shield rolled passed him and reached a dark figure, who just picked it up and held onto it, smirking.
An explosion went off, and Toothless was flung into the second lifeboat. Both chains broke and both lifeboats fell into the water as the flagship started sinking beneath the seas.
"TOOTHLESS!" Hiccup yelled and Toothless stared helplessly as both lifeboats went in separate directions. Eventually, Hiccup resorted to crying his eyes out.
Meanwhile, nearly three miles away and Toothless was trying his hardest not to do the same, but failing miserably as rain fell down on his blood-soaked scales.
Toothless pulled out a circular metal disc, and he used his fire at max heat to get it hot enough to be bend into any shape.
Toothless walked into the tree line, following the lights as a signal of where he should go. Eventually, when he reached the lights two people approached, carrying spears and ready to throw them at him.
Toothless used a click of his paw to charge up his armor, causing lightning bolts to come off him. The two spears impacted his armor and clattered to the ground uselessly.
*Oh please, as if that would actually pierce MY armor* Toothless said and used another click of his paw to make the lightning on his body to grow brighter and more dangerous.
Toothless roared happily and nuzzled Hiccup, who was still getting over the shock of his best friend running in randomly and excitedly roaring.

Astrid brought over a torch and shined it on Toothless, the dragon awkwardly smiling and waving his paw as a friendly hello.
