Chapter 1
Authors NoteOkay before we begin there are some things I would like to point out about this fic before we begin.
Naruto is dead, this fic is about his and Hana's son, he may appear later as a reanimated fighter but that'll be it.
Mystogan and Edolas will not appear in this fic, as I'm not a big fan of the Edolas Arc, so instead that Arc will be replaced with one involving Konoha.
Natsu will not be E.N.D as I absolutely hated that reveal, Natsu will still be a Dragon Slayer from 400 years in the past, and will still be Zeref's brother, but he and E.N.D will be two different enterties.
Now on with the story.
They had kept their relationship a secret for months, ever since Naruto Uzumaki had returned from his training trip with his master Jiraiya, and had reencountered Hana Inuzuka the older sister of his friend Kiba. Naruto had changed greatly on his trip with Jiraiya, his crush on Sakura was gone though the two remained great friends, and he had grown a great appreciation for curvaceous women like Hana, he'd also grown incredibly handsome during his time away so much so that he caught Hana's attention.
This led to the two of them dating which they kept secret from all but a select few, though eventually, word got out to the whole village, this caused a large amount of outrage among most civilians and a few of the weaker Ninja's, this is because Naruto is the Jinchuriki of the Kyubi the Demon Fox that attacked Konoha on the day of Naruto's birth, though he was just it's container this is not how these people chose to see him, they saw him as the Kyubi in human form who had corrupted the Heiress of the Inuzuka Clan, their outrage grew when they learned of Hana being pregnant with Naruto's child.
Fearing for the safety of their unborn child and with the blessing of Hana's family as well as Tsunade the Fifth Hokage of Konoha and Naruto's friends, the couple planned to leave not only Konoha but the Ninja continent of Shang as well, they planned to move to Ishgar away from the Ninja society and start afresh, sadly for the couple this was not to be.
The Civilian Council of Konoha had for years been trying to find a way to kill Naruto and be rid of the Kyubi once and for all, without the intervention of the Ninja Council, Hokage and Elders, so they informed the Akatsuki of Naruto and Hana's plan to head for Ishgar, they hoped the Akatsuki would kill Naruto, Hana and their unborn child, the plan sort of worked with Naruto being forced to sacrifice himself so that Hana could flee to Ishgar, though this did result in Naruto being captured by the Akatsuki, and having the Kyubi extracted resulting in his death.
Year x765So this is where we find Hana alone, scared and heavily depressed in the continent of Ishgar, just wandering aimlessly through the forest her baby bump has swollen exponentially, in fact, she's near her due date.
"Well, well what do we have here? Whats a beautiful woman such as yourself doing out here alone, especially in your condition." An elderly male voice says.
Startled Hana looks around for the source of the voice.
"Up here." The voice says.
Hana looks up and sees a tiny elderly man sitting on a branch.
"Who are you?" Hana asks warily entering a defensive stance.
"Easy there child I mean you no harm, my name is Makarov Dreyar the Guild Master of Fairy Tail. I was just wondering why a woman in your condition would be out here on her own." Makarov says in a reassuring tone.
Hana calms down a bit at Makarovs tone.
"Sorry I've just had a bit of a hard time lately." Hana says.
"What to talk about it?" Makarov asks.
Hana looks at him with a raised eyebrow.
"If you talk about it, it may help ease your mind." Makarov says sagely.
Hana shrugs before walking over to a log and sitting down, Makarov then jumps down from the branch and goes over to Hana and sits next to her. Hana then tells Makarov about the events of the past several months and about her beloved Naruto's life. Needless to say Makarov was livid that people could treat someone so callously for something beyond their control, he was also highly sympathetic to Hana's plight, leaving her home to start anew with the one she loves, only for them to be sold out by blind ignorant fools, which resulted in the death of said loved one.
"I am truly sorry for all the hardships you've faced Hana, no one should have suffered the way you have." Makarov says sympathetically.
"Thank you for saying this Master Dreyar." Hana says smiling brightly at the man.
"So tell me what are your plans?" Makarov asks curiously.
"I'm not certain." Hana answers truthfully.
"Well if you're interested why don't you join my Guild." Makarov suggests.
Hana's eyes widen at Makarov's suggestion.
"But I'm not a native of this land." Hana blurts out.
"That doesn't matter, Ishgar isn't like Shang for it doesn't matter where you're born you are free to go anywhere and join any Guild." Makarov says sagely.
"But what about my condition, I won't be able to take many jobs if any for a couple of years." Hana says she didn't want to turn down thios offer yet she had to be realistic, Guilds survived by how much money it's members brought in, if a member didn't bring in much money then what was the point of them being their.
"That's okay you can work as the Guilds barmaid, until your newborn is old enough then you can start taking jobs." Makarov replies.
"But I have Chakra not Magic, so how could I join a Magical Guild?" Hana asks despondently, for she knew that this was the one thing that would bar her from joining.
"Quite simple my dear." Makarov says gently patting Hana's back.
When Makarov pats Hana's back she feels a change within her.
"What did you do to me?" Hana asks slightly worried.
"I placed a rune on you, this rune will change your Chakra into Magic, your child will also be born with Magic not Chakra." Makarov says simply.
Hana couldn't believe what was going on, she had just randomly met an old man in the forest, and he had managed to give her a chance at having a stable environment to raise her child.
"Okay I'll join your Guild." Hana finally relents.
"Wonderful." Makarov says happily.
"But you'd better not be thinking of giving me some sort of frilly uniform." Hana says sternly.
Makarov pales and audibly gulps.
"I would never do something like that." Makarov says nervously, while internally crying over not being able to get Hana in his sexy barmaid outfit.
Hana just glares at Makarov, before following him to the Fairytail Guildhall.
