"Stop Doing That!"

"You gotta stop doing that," she mumbles, trying to focus on the next research question.

"What? What am I doing, Marinette?" He questions her as his fingers tap the desk in a speedy fashion as he works.

"You're annoying me, Chaton." She flips through their shared textbook glancing sideway at him once or twice while she nibble on the end of her pen.

He forces his nervous anxiety to calm and takes a deep breath.

"So..."

Marinette shoots him a questioning gaze.

"So, what?"

"Can we take a break?" He asks.

"A break? Adrien? We just started not even fifteen minutes ago!" She groans in frustration. "Why, why do you need a break?"

"I-I uh... I need to talk to you?" Adrien rubs the back of his neck and bites the right corner of his lip. She's seen him do it a million times. The only problem is that he never does it around anyone else. Just her.

She huffs and looks away.

"Why are you always doing that?" she groans.

"What? What am I doing?" he blurts in question.

Marinette groans once more before turning back to her work with an eye roll.

"You know what? I think you're just avoiding my questions at this point." he mumbles.

She huffs in frustration once more as she plots points on a graph.

"I am not."

"Then why wont you tell me? I can't stop doing something that annoys you unless you tell me what it is that I'm doing wrong."

Marinette buries her head in her arms and mumbles something inherently.

Adrien begins poking her side relentlessly until she comes out of hiding and peers over at him. As soon as she catches sight of his adorable smile she turns away from him.

They both sigh and refocus their attention on their work; at least until Adrien notices the adorable way that Marinette chews on her pencil and Marinette glances over at him to see his cheeks flushed.

"What?" she deadpans.

"N-Nothing!" he blurts.

"You really need to stop doing that..."

"Stop what!"

"I'm trying to focus on the project!"

"Tell me Mari!"

In return she sighs and glances down at her socks.

"Stop doing things that make me want to kiss you," she whispers. "We really need to focus and get our schoolwork done."

Adrien stares at her for a long moment before pulling her into a hug.

"I'm sorry I'm so completely attractive and distracting Princess."

When Marinette pulls away she shoots him a glare. And presses a finger to his chest pushing him away.

"You wish."
