Kuphulu leaned against one of Anur Transyl's stores. *Nothing is going to prevent me from stealing rubies for my statues.
Not Crujo. Not Scout* he thought.
Kuphulu gasped after Scout stepped out of darkness. ''You found me? How?'' he asked while his eyes widened.
''I followed you,'' Scout said to Kuphulu.
''Oh,'' Kuphulu muttered.
''You are not going to try to steal rubies again,'' Scout said.
''How do you know about my current plan?'' Kuphulu asked.
''You are standing near a jewelry shop, Kuphulu.''
Four bandages moved on Kuphulu's back. They extended before Scout dodged them. ''I am not going to return to prison!'' he exclaimed.
One bandage stretched to where Scout was. Kuphulu trembled with rage after Scout rolled out of the way. ''You will not arrest me again.''
''Why isn't Crujo with you, Kuphulu? You are partners in crime,'' Scout muttered.
''I am not always near Crujo,'' Kuphulu said. He rolled his eyes. ''Crujo is the main reason why I'm always arrested with him.
He is usually hungry. Crujo focuses on food after we walk by butcher shops, bakeries, etc.'' Kuphulu began to roll his eyes again.
Scout ran to Kuphulu and arrested him. He took him to a cell.
After stepping into the cell, Kuphulu trembled with rage again. His eyes were on Scout before the latter departed.
Scout eventually returned with Crujo until he placed him in the cell. He heard Kuphulu while the latter gasped.
''I viewed Crujo trying to steal bread a few minutes ago.'' Scout glanced from Kuphulu to Crujo. ''Enjoy your days together. You will be in prison for a looong time.''
Kuphulu stood near Crujo before he focused on Scout. ''This is cruel and unusual punishment!'' he exclaimed. He glanced at Crujo as the latter tilted his head in confusion.
