The Worst That Could Happen
Dear Kari,
So I heard you're getting married, and you're sure that he's perfect for
you. I guess this is the end. The rest of the Digidestined say you really love him. He makes you feel so safe so sane and so secure. Well, Kari, if he loves you more than I do, I guess it's the best thing for you. But, I want to tell you, it's the worst thing that could ever happen to me. You know I won't love ever again, but someone like you needs to settle down with someone like yourself. I knew you couldn't live in between my arguments with him over you.
I'll repeat again, it's the best thing for you but the worst that could
happen to me. I don't blame you for having your own dream. I realize now, that I was just trying to control your life, to make you love me.
