Standing at the the of a cliff, Sam Uley sighed. How could his life become so bloody complicated. He kicked a huve stone near him which shattered into pieces under the force. He was not really angry but it was his sorrow that was slowly transforming into extreme anger. Why? Why me? These were his only thoughts.

Why did he have to be one of the people to imprint. Why did he even exist even though it made her completely miserable.

He had loved her with his very soul. They were so sure that they were soulmates but fate had other plans for them. Fate gave a half- extremely happy life with a real, caring soulmate, all the while missing his beloved companion who was his true equal. While Leah did not even get the compensation of happiness. She only recieved misery for herself.

He knew it was a bad idea to not let her go independent and keep her with the pack which would only serve to make both of them miserable. And now she was gone, without a warning. Just a letter and a few gifts.

He was sitting happily in his living room of the little cottage, sipping tea with his wife, happily. That was when a parcel was delievered at hia doorstep. It had no returning address nor a name of the sender, just a box, a small wooden box.

When Sam carried it inside and opened it, it nearly sent him in a shock. The little box contained papers. Papers which said that someone was benequething her property in the name of Emily Young. But it were not the papers which sent Sam in shock but a letter.

Dearest Sam,

A long time, nearly three years have gone since we talked properly. Since we parted ways. Since you broke every promise you made to me with one eye contact. But today, I am going to fulfill my promise, to do all I can to make you happy.

Years ago, we bought the little cottage and dreamed of three little children running in the backyard. But Alas! Our dream could not come true, atleast mine could not. So when the dream associated with my once sacred cottage, where we were to grow old together could not come true, then what use is the cottage. So, I am benequething the cottage to your wife so that you can live tge dream, even if without me. Now, I am completely out of your life, finally. But you will always reside in a small part of my broken heart.

I love you.

Goodbye.

Leah.

Little did she know that she will always have his heart. She will never be away from him. Always in his heart.

Later in the day, the news of Leah Clearwater's departure from the reservation spread.
