"Gray, I really can't! I have to finish my story!"

"No one's stopping you."

"We shouldn't be doing this, Gray..."

"I said 'No one's stopping you.' Just go finish up!"

"..."

"..."

"...just five more minutes..."

"LUCY!"

"GRAY!"

Grad students, Gray and Lucy were currently residing in the living room of their shared apartment with Shark Tale playing on the television. Although both were lounging arm in arm on the double love-seat, neither seemed to be seeing eye-to-eye.

Brown eyes pierced onyx as both sat unwavering, a competition of compelling strengths.

"Go do your homework, Lucy." Gray commands, facing back to the screen.

"But I want to watch the movie!" Lucy whines, unhooking her arms from his to flail them around. "As my boyfriend, you should let me do what I want!"

Aggressively, Gray grabs the T.V. remote, pressing pause on the show. "It's just a stupid childs' movie, Lucy! Isn't this story more important?"

"But it's my favorite, Gray!" Lucy huffs, puffing up her cheeks for special effects.

"..." Wordlessly, Gray inclines closer to Lucy, shoulders hunched with a straight face.

Unnerved, Lucy questions him, not backing down. "What?"

"I'll let you finish your movie if..." Starting to feel ashamed, Gray hides his face in his girlfriend's shoulder.

"Hmm?"

Gray mutters a few incoherent words, shrugging closer into Lucys' form before continuing. "I'll let you finish your movie if you kiss me..."

Feeling proud of herself, Lucy smirks at Grays' uncharacteristic shyness. Only she can have this effect on him.

"Awww, Gray! There's no need to beg about it! Of course, I'll kiss you!"

Gray turns his head, with a little pout, towards Lucy. "Don't you start teasing me..."

With that, Lucy takes hold of Grays' face in her hands as he holds her wrist, both inching slowly towards each others awaiting lips. In a matter of seconds, they are both attached in a chaste kiss, only to pull away.

"Mmm, Gray you know I love you." Lucy says as she begins to get comfortable in the males embrace once more.

"By the way, Lucy? When's your story due?"
