First fanfic:

Phoenix Wright looked around. He hadn't been in this room a second before, even if he knew where it was. He could have sworn that he was standing up, presenting evidence. No, that wasn't him. That was somebody else... He turned down the case and somebody else got in trouble. Who? Kristoph? Disbarred? And why could he remember the name Trucy...?

'Phoenix?' A hand touched his waist. 'Phoenix, come back to us'. He looked to his side to see Miles Edgeworth beaming as him, as his hands snaked around him.

'EDGEWORTH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET AWAY FROM ME!' Phoenix screamed. Edgeworth looked hurt and confused, then shocked.

'Phoenix. Are you ok? What do you remember? Who are you? Who am I? Who am I...?' It dwindled off but it sounded like 'Who am I to you?'

'Edgeworth. You're my friend. And at the same time my enemy. You are a prosecutor... and you went to Europe but then came back to defend my client... and I got disbarred.'

'What?' Edgeworth began to laugh. 'Oh dear, you must be exhausted. Guys, I think we should have the party next week.' The amusement in his eyes changed to concern when Phoenix said 'What party?' 'And what guys?'

Phoenix then looked around the room. Maggie and Gumshoe stood proudly in the corner, Maggie cradling a little child. Maya stood with Franziska at the buffet, picking up plates of food. They looked together. TOGETHER together. Pearl was nowhere to be found, but he soon worked out that she had channelled Mia, who was standing next to Mr Armando. Larry and Iris smiled at him, and Bikini stood near them. Kristoph stood there too, with a guy with two pointy quills on his brown hair. Not Kristoph, this person had longer hair, and no glasses. It must have been his little brother. His name was... Klavier! Phoenix grabbed his head.

'You all here. How? When? Why?'

Edgeworth grabbed Phoenix's hand and flipped it over, so that the palm was down. Phoenix glanced at his hand and was transfixed by the ring on it. A ring matching Edgeworth's. Memories flooded back: Kristoph being disbarred, the Christmas party, the mistletoe, the kiss, the moving in, the engagement, the marriage, the one year anniversary party. NOW! He sighed with happiness. Here he was with his friends and family. He was content at last.
