Jim doesn't have to know why I'm always on the Bridge when I don't need to be. He'd probably think it was childish or something. But I've been doing it for years, and no one's said anything yet. So they must not think it's too important.
And if I do say so myself, I have perfectly impeccable timing. I seem to have a real talent for showing up at the most dramatic moments—maybe everyone thinks that's why I'm there. But they're wrong. Just a nice coincidence.
I always feel kind of bad when I interrupt you while you're working. But it's not really my fault—all I do is walk onto the Bridge, and you perk up of your own accord. And I know my place is on the Captain's left, but I always want to come and stand with you on your side. I guess I'll always have to settle for reaching my arm towards you behind the chair.
