Kasumi's POV
My sister, Kotomi, and I ran off the bus excitedly. For tonight was the Fullmetal Alchemist marathon at 7pm! Even though there was still three and a half hours before it began, we started getting ready right away. We prepared the entire basement, we blew up a giant air mattress, gathered all kinds of sweets to keep ourselves awake and by the time we turned on the TV the cats were comfortably curled up with us.
For the first six episodes, we sat on the air mattress, our eyes fixated on the TV, we would discuss during commercials. In the middle of the seventh episode a commercial flashed across the screen, both Kotomi and I let out an awe of disappointment, we hated when commercials would show up as soon as a good part began. During the commercial, Kotomi got up to stretch her legs and look out the window, she yelled; "HEY LOOK A SHOOTING STAR!" I jumped up to look out the window and there it was, a bright light shooting across the sky, it was beautiful. We both closed our eyes to wish on the star. I wished as hard as I could that we could meet the Elric brothers.
We made our wishes and heard the commercial end, just as the show flickered back on, the screen turned purple.
"Stupid TV!" I grumbled. I walked over and hit the top of it hoping that a good beating would set it straight and teach it a lesson about messing with FMA night. Kotomi sighed, I saw her grab her backpack from the corner of my eye, she's probably going to start reading so I have to fix the TV, I thought.
The screen rippled and I jumped back, "Whoa!" We watched it curiously, I touched it. My hand went through the screen like it wasn't even there. "Hah hah, it feels like Jell-O!" I said, as soon as I started to move my hand around a little, the TV make a slurping sound and I was sucked into the TV. I heard Kotomi scream as she dove in after me with her backpack still in her hand.
I opened my eyes to see the night sky above me. I quickly sat up, remembering what had happened, I looked around to see Kotomi lying next to me. She was holding onto the backpack for dear life.
"Kotomi!" I shook her awake.
She snorted, "Huh? ... What?... What's happening?" She slowly woke up and remembered what happened, "Hey, where are we?" I looked around.
"I dunno- it kinda looks familiar, if you think about it"
We looked around a bit and saw a house, "Yeah. That place is nice, it looks a bit like Tucker's place from FMA…"
"DAAAAAAAAADDDDDY!" We jumped as a scream came from the house. Kotomi looked at me, concerned.
"Do you think that's Nina?" I ran to the door, I busted it open with Kotomi following, we ran though the house looking for Nina. I came to a door that lead to the basement, Kotomi opened it, we saw cages with dozens of chimeras locked up inside. We ran into the connected room to see Nina crying, she was tied to Alexander, her big, fluffy dog, in a transmutation circle with her crazed father ready to turn them into a chimera. I ran at Tucker and took him down, my gym teacher back home would have been proud of me. I pinned him to the floor while Kotomi untied Nina and Alexander and took them to a corner of the room away from our wrestling match.
Kotomi comforted Nina while I sat on Tucker, just when things were calming down, the door busted open to reveal a small group of military men with hefty guns. They surrounded everyone in the room. Kotomi and I looked over at the open door to see a whole suit of armour and a short guy with blond hair.
