Fatal distraction

Once again, Harry had managed to get himself into trouble and once again he had unwittingly managed to lead his pursuers straight to the office. This was SO getting old…

This time they had to deal with six of them, all of them dressed in loose-fitting black clothes and ski-masks. And there was something about them that just seemed off….

"You just had to go and piss off the Ice Maiden, hadn't you?" Chance grumbled.

"You think I did that on purpose? Do I look like I have a death wish? I don't even know who that is, how was I supposed to know she was involved?" Harry sputtered indignantly.

"You know that saying 'the only thing worse than the devil is the devil's grandmother?'. The Ice Maiden is that grandmother, dude".

Harry gulped.

"If I can get into the kitchen I can whip up a smoke screen. Should get us into the elevator. But we're going to need something to distract them."

"Ames?" Chance and Guerrero automatically looked to their usual source of distraction, half expecting her outrage and denial. But this time Ames only smiled like a cat that had just caught a very juicy canary.

"Love to help out, guys, but I think using me as a distraction won't work. In case you haven't noticed yet, they're all women. Unless you have something else in mind, it looks like this time someone else gets to walk around in their underwear." With a positively evil grin she threw a pointed look at Chance.

"Have you lost your mind? I'm not going to…." Now it was Chance's turn to sputter indignantly.

"Oh, so getting me to do it is perfectly alright, but for you it isn't?" Ames practically hissed like an angry kitten.

"Dude, she's right," Guerrero's calm voice interrupted the budding argument before it could get any further. "And if we're going to do anything, we have to do it now, so just shut up and strip."

Throwing a positively murderous "I am so going to get you for this" look at all of them, Chance started to shrug out of his shirt and pants. "You could at least have the decency to turn around", he growled.

As Guerrero prepared to make a dash for the kitchen and Ames got ready to drag Harry into the elevator as soon as the smoke screen was in effect, Chance stepped out of hiding, feeling utterly ridiculous and way too exposed. Taking a deep breath, he plastered the most charming smile he could muster under the circumstances on his face and loudly cleared his throat.

"Dos any of you ladies have a shirt I could borrow?"
