Simbelmynë

As she slept in the boundless slumber, she heard it. Nehellenia heard a voice that pierced the silence that had encompassed her.
The voice, a female voice, was like music, like a celestial deity's trumpet resounding in her ears.
Oh Great Queen…
Nehellenia felt herself being pulled as if ascending from the depths of the moon, out of the never-ending darkness, out of the grave and into the bright light.
She was puzzled, confused, and almost afraid. She wanted nothing more than to touch, make sure this wasn't a cruel dream.
A woman soon appeared in front of Nehellenia, with long cascading coral hair. She held her close, as if the queen was dizzy and spinning, as if from orbit.
Maybe this wasn't her idea of heaven. Maybe she was still dreaming in the sleep she was never supposed to awaken from.
A million visions flooded at once, and the women with the coral hair held the queen closer to her form.
Does it matter, Nehellenia?
All that matters is this, you have loved me enough to stay.
