A/N I'm sorry to those who don't already know, but I have deleted the story Flame. I have discontinued it because no matter how hard I try I can't get back into it. If anyone wants to pick up the character just PM me. Anyway, just watched Captain America: The Winter Solider yesterday and got massive amounts of inspiration. Hope you all enjoy the story
Chapter 1: Loves Determination
Steve awoke with a start. Even six months after finding out Bucky was alive, he still had nightmares about his death. Normally, it took a moment to remind himself that Bucky was alive and out there alone in a world he didn't know.
But tonight wasn't one of those nights. He woke with a fierce determination to find Bucky and make him remember everything they'd once been.
How Steve was going to do that, he had absolutely no idea how he was going to do that, but he did know he had to find him. No matter how long it took.
Steve got out of bed, took a shower, and got dressed in his usual running clothes. After locking up his apartment, he headed out. He needed to think, and he always thought better when he was running.
As he ran he tried to think of who Bucky was now. How might he try to hide from S.H.E.I.L.D., and where he might be.
Finding Bucky wouldn't be an easy task, but it was one Steve would never, ever give up on. No matter who, or what, tried to stop him.
