I just found this in my documents... I wrote this ages ago after a boy in my class used this pick-up line on me. Very plot what plot, haha.
I don't own Harry Potter.
Enjoy...
Lily buried her head in her arms and groaned against the graffiti covered, wooden desk. Chemistry – what kind of torture is this?
The professor paced backwards and forwards at the front of the bleak, white room. He stopped now and then to write down notes the class were meant to copy down on a large board at the front of the room; his handwriting was barely readable. He droned on about ionic bonding but it just sounded like one big continuous noise to Lily, a bit like an unhappy didgeridoo.
Marlene nudged Lily's shoulder and she looked up. The other girl motioned to the table in front and one to the left of them where Remus and James were sitting. Remus, the closest to the girls, was holding a piece of paper out to them in an out stretched arm. He had an apologetic look on his face.
Lily rolled her eyes at the back of James's head. Her green eyes and Remus's brown met and a silent understanding passed between them, I'm sorry for what you're about to read – but this is James.
Lily sighed, reached out and took the note. She unfolded it and took in the words written there:
Evans,
Why don't we do some bonding of our own?
Yours,
James x
Lily didn't know whether to laugh or get out of her seat and slap James. She looked over to the boy who had swivelled round in his seat. James moved his dark eyebrows in a Mexican wave-like motion and grinned at Lily before turning to the front once more.
"Arse," Lily stated under her breath, a smile fighting its way to her lips.
That's it. Thank you for reading! Review maybe?
