A/N This is a response to bubbly chick's challenge. I'm doing Bet Number 20.

Travis was waiting under the bleachers. Should've made her agree to kiss me. Travis mumbled underneath his breath. He stomped his feet and his breath was a cloud of smoke. It was actually water vapor, but he didn't care. A brunette figure showed up. Travis sighed in relief. "You're late." He growled.

Katie shrugged. "It's not my fault I was sick all week."

"Yes, it was." Travis snapped. "So we get to spend an entire Saturday underneath the bleachers."

"Yup." Katie agreed. They stood there awkwardly for some time.

"So." Travis said.

"So." Katie replied.

Travis scratched the back of his head. "What're we gonna do this fine Saturday?"

"You could just call it off." Katie said innocently. Travis glared at her. "What?"

Travis rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Katie, Katie, Katie. When are you going to learn that I don't give up?"

"Give up on what?"

"Look." Travis said. "Once you kiss me, we can both go home."

"Yeah...No. I'd much prefer to stand underneath the bleachers." Katie smirked. "And if you try to kiss me," She warned Travis. "I'll set Ripper on you."

Travis closed his mouth and swallowed. Katie nodded in satisfaction. Ripper was Katie's terrifying bulldog-mastiff. He'd kill anyone on sight and was extremely vicious. Only Katie could calm him down. A few more minutes went by. Katie sighed and blew her long her away from her face.

"Bored?" Travis asked.

"Yeah." Katie said glumly.

"How about we play a game." Travis proposed.

"'Kay. What game?"

"Ummmm..." Travis wasn't expecting her to agree. She must be really bored. "How about Simon Says."

Katie gave him the "Stupid Look". "Travis, it's just you and me. How're we supposed to play Simon Says?"

"Okay." Travis agreed. "I Spy?"

"No."

"How 'bout Acronym."

"Acronym?" Katie said doubtfully.

"Acronym. See, I think of something, then I say the first letters of it. Like, I'm thinking of something blue and it starts with an S."

"The Sky." Katie said, catching on. "I'm thinking of something silver, and it starts with a B."

"Bleachers."

"It can fly and it starts with a G." Travis said.

"Goose. It's a color and it starts with M."

"M...I don't know any M."

"Magenta. Your turn."

"This is beautiful and it starts with a K." Travis said shyly, if that was possible.

"Kiara?" Kiara was the name of a popular girl at their school.

"Nope." Travis popped the p.

"Um...Kaitlyn?"

"No."

"Is it inanimate?"

"What?" Travis forehead scrunched up.

Katie sighed. "Is it alive?"

"Yep. It's a person. And she's here right now."

"The only person here that starts with a K is me." Katie said, before realizing what Travis meant. Before she had time to process it, Travis kissed her, hard. It wasn't like she'd never been kissed before, but no one was as good as Travis.

When they pulled apart, she was quiet in shock. "That was something." Travis said absentmindedly, fiddling with her hair.

Katie thought for a moment. "Did you really mean that. About me being beautiful?"

"Katie, why can't you just accept the fact that you're pretty?" Travis said in irritation.

"Because I'm not. I don't have-" Katie protested.

"Look Katie. You're pretty. You've just never looked at yourself that way, okay? Just accept what's going on and go with it." Travis said.

Katie bit her lip, before nodding her head hesitantly. "Okay." She let herself be kissed one more time.

A/N And Acronym is a game me and my brother play. Of course, we usually end up arguing, but...whatever.
