Note: This goes out for Hyper-Shaman Girl (did I spell that right?). I get the message that you detest my Jun x Ren fics. But I did put the word "incest" in my summaries, didn't I? I don't hate you, don't worry. I get your point but do understand that I wrote those stories for fun not for anything else. Anyway, this isn't a Ren x Jun fic and this is for you.
P.S. To all the others who happen to know TSNFFTOS and Ame no Kioku, I will continue those fics. I just need time.
In Silent Reverence

I looked at Ren. He looked at Horo. Horo looked at Chocolove who looked at Anna who stared at me. We sighed inwardly and I swear I heard the spirits do the same.
"Eliza..." The name echoed through the whole room.
We watched as Faust stroke Eliza's face with gentle fingers, smiling to his self.
This was one of those days again. One of those days in a month when Faust would lose himself in Eliza's world, losing his touch from reality. It is during these days that he'd just talk, pretending his wife would hear what he's saying. Sometimes, just sometimes, he'd breathe air into her lungs by kissing her deeply for long moments.
I can't bear this. We all can't bear this. But no matter how much we try, we can't do anything. We tried, we always try. It's just that our favorite necromancer has detached himself too much that even Anna's bitch slapping couldn't bring him back. I, too, tried. I tried talking him out of this but my words don't reach him. Nothing reaches him during these days. No, not even Chocolove's jokes. Among us, only Ren hadn't done anything. Yet. He is also affected, I know, but he doesn't show it much. Ren is too brash and irrational to talk so he probably won't do anything at all...
An hour passed and everything stayed the same, only this time, Faust wasn't talking anymore; he was humming.
Suddenly, I felt tension. I looked around, only to see Ren snatching his kwan-dao from its resting place. What is he doing? What will he be doing? Ren, the kwan-dao is not a stick, it's a weapon!
Sliding the door to its sides, he marched in. As expected, the doctor didn't mind that he was there.
In his own version of concern, the Chinese shaman sliced Eliza's 'body' into three unequal parts.
I sighed. Violence is not the key.
But, 'let him' were the words formed by Anna's lips so I did. Horo and Chocolove did the same.
Faust watched in shock as Eliza crumbled before his very eyes. He was angry- no, he was furious. Furious at Ren. Furious at what Ren had done.
"Tell Eliza you're sorry, Ren." Faust stated in a voice that sent chills down my spine.
No answer.
"Tell. Eliza. You're. Sorry."
"She's dead." The reply was simple yet it produced so much blow as I imagine the words forced right into Faust's thick skull.
She's dead, I wanted to repeat. She's dead. She's dead and there's nothing one can do about it.
The temperature around us dropped as the doctor gather the remaining pieces of his wife and walk towards the exit.
Faust came back after a week and, surprisingly, all was back to normal.
Those empty days still came to him. But it only came around the block once a year.
Maybe Ren's voice reached him after all.
Maybe, little by little, he could accept the fact that Eliza cannot and will not come back to life.
