Alec looked in the mirror.He was wearing a black suit and his hair was beautiful as always. Normaly he didn't care too much about his appearance but this wasn't any party.No it wasn't another boring party where he was obliged to go.This was a birthday party he couldn't wait for.The person that had birthday was Magnus Bane.

Magnus Bane.Magnus was someone very special in Alec's life.Actually he was his boyfriend.Thats why he was looking forward to celebrate his 523 birthday with him.

"Alec are you coming?" he heard Izzy call.All the shadowhunters were going together from the institute.He was in Magnus' appartment very often,well he basicaly lived there,but now he was in his room in the institute because he didn't want to distract magnus from his preparations.

"Yes" he called back walked outside

Knock knock.Alec knocked the door and in a moment the door opened by itself.Probably another spell magnus casted.He was so talented.

He walked in and got seperated from the others while he was looking for magnus.Then a voice said from behind

"There he is.My favourite shadowhunter"

"Magnus" Alec answered

Magnus was jogging to his side.When he reached he gave a quick kiss to his boyfriend.

The old days he wouln't kiss a warlock in front of people but since he met Magnus he found the courage to be himself in public.Now he doesn't give a shit what people think.

"For a moment I thought you wouldn't come" he said.He was wearing a purple suit and and sea blue shirt.He was full of makeup and glitter.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world"

Magnus gave him a little smile.Alec loved that smile so much he couldn't help a little laugh.

Magnus got losted into his eyes for a minute but then said:

"Let's get you a drink"

"Magnus you know that i don't drink"

"Alexander,this is a party you will drink" he said and then dragged alec to the bar

"A martini please" he told the barman

Alec sat on a chair and drank his drink while Magnus was welcoming some guests.

After a little bit he saw his boyfriend coming near him

"Would you give me the honor and dance with me Mr. Lightwood"

"What?You are joking right" He snapped

"Come on don't be shy"

"No way"

"Yes!!!I love that song"

Magnus took Alec's hand and lead him into the dance floor.

The song was kind of slow.Magnus put his hand around Alec's waist and took his hand with the other.

"This song really is great.How is it called?"

"Yuri on ice.I told you it was great.You shouldn't doubt my taste" he said

"How could I" Alec answered

And then Alec swirled Magnus

"You do know how to dance!!"said Magnus

"I must admit my mom made me take some lessons when i was a kid"

"Alec Lightwood is an amazing dancer.Who could have known"

"Amazing?No I just know how to not fall down while I am dancing"

"You will always be amazing to me"

And with that they ended their dance with a kiss
