Summary: House/Chase, Chase feels guilty after an encounter with Cameron.

Rating: T

Disclaimer: Don't own House.

Sin

He's cornered. He's got no idea why (oh REALLY?) but he's just somehow been cornered. Test results in hand, the scent of something on his breath (you're an idiot) and he's gotten himself backed up into the corner.
House smirks and the hand holding the test results trembles imperceptibly. Chase tries not to look like he's just gotten laid (yeah, right) and holds the test results out to House, an offering. House's smirk turns ever so slightly into a frown and Chase feels like House is God and he's just sinned.

The test results are negative of course (it's never Lupus) and Chase practically bolts out of the room, heading for the conference room, head down. He's thinking of his encounter earlier with Cameron which makes him feel dirty and bad for some reason. He berates himself though, he's a free agent, House shouldn't look at him like that, with that sad disappointed look (and yet...). House throws the test results in the trash and limps into the conference room, watching the wombat sitting at the table.

Chase doesn't look back but he knows he's being watched and he chews nervously on a pen (his teeth are going to break to pieces someday). He peeks out through shaggy blond hair and watches House watch him.

"Did you have fun playing doctor?" House asks, making Chase feel worse somehow.

"What are you talking about?" Chase lies, the lie makes him wince and he knows House knows he's lying (another sin).

"You fucked Cameron." It's not a question and they both know the answer.

"So what?" Chase said, swallowing nervously, trying to control his nerves.

"Stop screwing your coworkers," House spat and limped out. Chase thinks he's being a hypocrite (Cameron never answered the question but he knows the truth) and stands up angrily, storming into the other room.

He's demanding to know what's House's problem and suddenly he's pressed up against the wall, a desk corner digging into his hip and he feels a hard presence upon his mouth, he's being claimed and possessed (minemineminemine) and his brain stops working, simply functioning and he's kissing back with equal fervor.

Suddenly, House breaks off the kiss, staring into Chase's eyes, a hard look in his own. Chase knows this is a sign, that House is claiming what's his and suddenly he feels so much better, lighter. He's repented his sins and everything will be better now.

A/N: I seriously love Chase/House. I'm definitely taking the plunge into writing House stuff, starting with this. There'll be a lot more House stuff to follow. Thanks for reading, tell me if you like it.
