Alright everyone before we start the story I would not recommend reading the original for many reasons the main one is that I never finished it and I will not… and the other one and most important is that it was badly written. Bad grammar, not much explanation for many things, too much dialogue and less description and I occasionally repeated words… Do I need to mention that I messed up the character's personality? Like making Jewel a crying baby who will not do anything instead of crying and changing mood all the time without much of an the final reason is that the plot will change, ok I will keep the idea Blu is captured by the loggers, while he is trying to fight them before going to the tribe but that be it! This idea was inspired by Rio 2 Junior novel, there was a moment were Blu was caught by a man when he tried to take the keys from a bulldoze luckily Jewel was there… So yeah I hope you like it and it is going to have many references to both Ro 2 junior and Rio: Snake's Alive! Just to know…. One more thing, Megan will not be a human who talk to birds like the last time, this time she will be a spix macaw who's story was explored in my origins one, I changed her from human because having a human talking to a bird was crazy as hell and I couldn't continue the story as I first planned it…. Rio 2 Alternate Remastered

Prologue

It was a sunny day in the Amazon jungle, it seemed like the perfect day for someone to go and explore the jungle but it was not. Chaos was everywhere, birds were flying for their lives, loggers were destroying the jungle with their machines some of them were even capturing birds. In all this chaos a particular male adult blue spix macaw was flying in the opposite direction instead of escaping like the others.

This macaw was known as Blu, who recently came to the Amazon with his family and friends in order to help their human friends Linda and Tulio to find more of their kind and eventually they did find the tribe which leader Eduardo was the father of Blu's wife Jewel, his wife and kids were having a great time here unlike him who was hated by everyone especially Eduardo because of his past relationship with humans. Things got worse when Blu caused a war between an enemy tribe whom leader was a scarlet macaw named Felipe. But Blu's failure didn't stop there, he was the one to score the final goal on the wrong team bringing the victory to the scarlet tribe and causing his tribe to hate him more.

This also caused an argument between him and Jewel. Blu went to find his human friends Linda and Tulio but only to say goodbye. Jewel's childhood friend Roberto thinks that he is a traitor and attacks him, he and Blu argue and Roberto reveals his past as a pet, just then a bulldoze is close on killing both Blu and Roberto who has a panic attack, Blu saves him in the last moment and tells him to go and warn the tribe.

And now Blu is searching for Linda and Tulio while at the same time he tries to stop the loggers by himself, he finds himself around panicked birds who are flying for their lives. Blu notices a yellow macaw with eggs on a hollow and one bulldoze extremely close. In a desperate attempt Blu attacks unthinkably to the driver who saw him coming. Before Blu could attack he is knocked down by the driver and he got hit once more in the head knocking him unconscious.

Back to the tribe Jewel was sitting on a branch looking at the horizon waiting for Blu to come back, she thought about their argument all the time, she knew she was wrong and wanted to fix things up, she just hoped that Blu wouldn't go back to Rio without them. Jewel's thoughts were interrupted when a panicked Roberto passed by with 2 other spix macaws carrying him.

"IT'S OVER, IT'S OVER!" Roberto was yelling like crazy, Eduardo who heard his screams came to see what was happening.

"What is going on here?"

"THE LOGGERS ARE COMING! WE ARE DOOMED! AND BLU IS WITH THEM!" Roberto kept yelling, the last thing caught Jewel's attention too.

"Traitor!"

"No…. Blu is trying to help us!"

"WHAT?! By himself?" Jewel entered the conversation, she didn't want Blu to be out there alone not to mention being in danger.

"We need to evacuate NOW!" Eduardo yelled, everyone followed his orders apart from Jewel.

"No dad… this time I will not come with you!" Jewel said, she was determined to go and find Blu no matter what, she wouldn't just leave him out there.

"No you must come with me, we're family…"

"Blu is my family and I will not leave him behind! I love you dad, but I can't lose him, I need him!" Jewel said, Eduardo was shocked by Jewel's denial and determination to find her husband, he knew what was like to lose someone he loved, he didn't want Jewel to feel the same even if he didn't like Blu.

"Alright…. But be careful!" Eduardo said, Jewel smiled but before she took off she was stopped by someone else.

"Mom wait!" Tiago her only son screamed, he was panting because he wanted to go to his mother fast before she leaves. Jewel looked at him confused.

"I will come with you!"

"What? No, no, no I want you to stay with pop-pop baby okay?" this made Tiago to sigh in defeat, he knew he couldn't argue with his mother so he just stayed there starring at her.

"Me and daddy will find you and your sisters okay?"

"Okay mom…. And good luck!" Tiago said, Jewel smiled and gave him a small kiss on his head before she took off to find her husband.

"Hang in there Blu, I am coming…."

And that was the first chapter, I can already tell the differences, the prologue was the same as the first chapter, but with more details. Alright see you soon in the next chapter Byeee!
