A/N: So here is a little something I just thought up while I was in class.
4-year old Aria Montgomery sat at the swings. The black-haired, brown eyed child wearing a white dress was waiting for her best friend, Spencer Hastings. Aria sighed, Spencer was always late. After a few minutes, she saw the little girl. Spencer was wearing a jumpsuit with her brown hair tied into a braid. She was sporting her cute impish grin that Aria identified with trouble and her face was filled with claw marks and scratches. Spencer stopped in front of Aria and greeted her, "Hi." Aria pointed to her face, "What happened there?"
Spencer shrugged, "A cat was bothering me so I threw her in the pool." Aria frowned. "It was a bad kitty," Spencer explained. "Whose kitty was it?" she asked. Spencer smiled, "Alison's kitty". Aria's eyes widened and slapped Spencer's arm. "Ouch!" cried Spencer. Aria pointed a finger to her, "You shouldn't make Alison angry because she's a bi-, bish?"
"A bitch?" Spencer asked.
"Yeah! A bitch! What's a bitch?"
Spencer shrugged. She said quietly, "Your Mommy also told you not to play with me anymore." Aria nodded. It was true that her Mommy doesn't like her playing with Spencer. She always tells Aria that Spencer is a bad kid. Aria doesn't think Spencer is a bad kid even though she loves kicking trash cans, drowning kittens and cats, fighting with the other kids and playing pranks. Ari always believe that underneath the rude and scary exterior, Spencer is a nice kid. In fact, Aria thinks Spencer is way nicer than her other friends, Hanna Marin and Emily Fields.
Aria grabs one of Spencer's hands and asked, "Are you really going to be leaving tonight?" Spencer nodded. "When will you be back?" she asked. Spencer shrugged. Spencer will be leaving tonight to go to a school in Lyndo? Ledo? London? Aria wasn't sure, but Spencer said it was far. Aria asked, "Will we play when you get back?" Spencer grinned. "Yeah! We'll be riding bikes, drowning cats and I'll be the one pushing you around already!" Aria laughed. She always pushes Spencer around because Spencer was smaller than her. She teased, "How can you push me if you're so small?" Spencer pouted, "When I get back, I'll be the one pushing you around coz I'll be bigger than you!"
Aria laughed and started tickling Spencer. Spencer wheezed out, "Stop it! Stop it!" Aria stopped but she kept on laughing. Spencer pouted at first but eventually joined Aria in laughing. When the laughter died down, Aria asked, "We'll be friends forever, won't we Spencie?" Spencer nodded and spat on her hand, "Promise." Aria grinned and spat on her hand also. "Promise", she repeated. They shook on it, drool on their hands and all.
