Summary: Dean takes on Cain's mantle. This does not bode well.
He'd said no to Michael. He'd watched while Sam said yes to Lucifer. He'd known it was the right thing. Certainty had been the marrow of his bones, and though his heart had been a more broken mess than his face, he'd fought on.
He doesn't even think about saying yes to Cain, just grasps the fratricide's arm, allowing the painful brand to mark him for as the killer he is. A dealer in death, more lethal than sarin to those who trust him.
His mind is blank as he rolls his flannel sleeve back down to cover the scar.
