A very short one-shot.

Consider it a little present from me to you (although my birthday is in two days, haha) for all the waiting, of updating my other story (which I still need to do—damn formatting).

-Don't own Glee

-Don't own Puck or Rachel or Tanaka

- Or "Smile" by Uncle Kracker

Here you go (:

Puck sat on the bleachers, looking up at the sky. With the sound of Tanaka, the wind, and the sound of feet padding against the grass swirling around him, this is where Puck felt the most at ease.

Just then, he heard footsteps approaching him,"Do you miss it?" it was his girlfriend.

He smiled,"A little.- But, I like to sit out here; makes me feel calm." Puck looked up at Rachel and saw her smiling,"C'mere."

Rachel did what she was told, and came to sit next to her boyfriend.

He wrapped an arm around her,"I hope you didn't pick glee over football because of me, because I don't want to keep you from doing the things you enjoy."

Puck laughed and shook his head,"I love you, Rach." he kissed the tip of her nose and looked at her.

"Noah, no one's ever said that to me-well, except for my fathers; but I don't think that counts, seeing as-"

Rachel looked like she had just seen a unicorn; her eyes full of wonder. She was so beautiful.

"Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you look, Rachel?"

"You've told me that a million times."

"And you never believe me." Puck kissed her lightly,"And simple 'I love you too, Noah' would've been a WAAAY better answer." he laughed.

Rachel laughed breezily and snuggled up against him,"I love you, Noah."

"I know you do, babe." he kissed her head and sighed. Just then, Puck's iPod went off and started to play "Smile" by Uncle Kracker,"Ironic, that song was just stuck in my head."

Rachel smiled lazily,"Yeah; I love you."

...You make me smile like the sun,

Fall out of bed,

Sing like a bird, dizzy in my head.

Spin like a record, crazy on a Sunday night.

You make me dance like a fool,

Forget how to breathe,

Shine like gold,

Buzz like a bee;

Just the thought of you can drive me wild-oh, you make me smile . . .

Short and sweet (; and exactly how I wanted the Puckleberry break-up scene to turn out; although it's dubbed "the Puckleberry Break-Up Scene". Haha, well, until next time . . .

a little touch of wicked,
