I wrote this fanfic after getting a prompt on my Nami tumblr blog from honourablesniper, a very good Usopp roleplayer.
I can't say that I ship this pairing, but this was very fun to write.

The Strawhats had docked at an island that was full of caves and seemingly not inhabited by any humans. In pairs of two or three, the crew had set out on mini adventures, exploring the place and gathering food where they could. Nami and Usopp, brave as they were - not -, had paired up with Sanji and made their way into a cave. The algae on the walls emitted a strange blue light, making it possible to see, even without any other source of light. When the high tide came this cave would probably be flooded with water, but now there were enough dry-ish places to walk, even if some places were still quite slippery, which Nami found out when she took a wrong step. Trying to save herself from falling, she grabbed the nearest thing she could get a hold of, but ended up pulling Usopp down with her. Even though Sanji tried his best to catch the two in their fall it was already too late and Nami landed quite painfully on the ground - half in the water - with Usopp on top of her. "Oof - " she exclaimed as her breath was pressed out of her lungs. When she looked up she stared straight into the shocked and slightly worried eyes of the crew's sniper, causing her to blush slightly and look away, aware of how close they were. The moment didn't last long however, since the cook pulled the man off her and helped her up

. "Nami-swaaan~ are you alright?" Nodding, the navigator wanted to take a hold of her elbow, only to notice that it hurt and that she had scraped her elbow. It was Usopp who noticed it first and asked if she was alright. "Yeah, I'm fine, it's just a scrape. I'll have Chopper look at it once we get back," she reassured her best friend and was happy to see his relieved face.

The narrow path led them to a large hall in the cave that had water deep enough to swim in and not be able to stand. Small rays of sunlight streamed into the cave from cracks and openings in the ceiling. The water was illuminated beautifully and Nami held her breath as she took in the image. Usopp stood next to her and just like her, he was mesmerized by the beauty of this place. Unknowingly, the two linked their hands behind Sanji's back.

The trance was broken when the cook, who had moved on to the water, called out: "Ah! The water is actually warm!" Bolting up, the sniper and the navigator realised that they were holding hands and let go of each other immediately, both with a blush tainting their cheeks. Nami was the first to make her way down to the blond man and feel the water of the lake. She also, was very surprised at the actual warmth and looked back at Usopp to call him over, just in time to catch his disappointed gaze in her direction. Her eyes lowered as she looked away from the sniper and her shoulders slumped a little. Sighing, she stood up and casually took off her sandals and her jeans, before jumping into the lake. The two men looked at each other, then to Nami and back at each other, before stripping to their underwear and jumping after her.

Laughter filled the cave and resonated between the halls as the three played around in the water, splashing, pulling and pushing each other. The laughter was sometimes mixed with Nami's indignant yelling at the boys when they were a bit too harsh, but she just payed them back double. It was Sanji who got out of the water first, when he heard the calls of their nakama outside of the cave. Nami was about to follow after him, but she was pulled underwater before the had the chance to. Her first instinct was to swim back up again, but her two hands cupped her cheeks and lips found their way onto hers. Her eyes widened, before they closed as she answered the kiss.
