WHAT! I don't know how, but apparently, this first, vital chapter has been missing for quite some time! Luckily I have the document saved. I did not proofread this again, so if there are any issues, please let me know. Sorry for that.
This fic was written for my cousin for Christmas. It has a lime. It's actually pretty terrible, but it was mostly written at 3 a.m.
It started as a typical day for Edward and Alphonse Elric. Roy Mustang told them to head back to Risembool to update Ed's automail and to take it easy for a while. That's exactly what they were doing.
They were about to knock on the door that was Winry and Pinako's. Edward raised his hand to knock when the door swung open.
"Ed! Al!" Winry exclaimed as she embraced them. "I'm so glad that you're back safely!"
"Yeah, yeah, Winry," Ed scoffed as he reluctantly returned the hug. "Don't we always come back in one piece?"
"Winry!" Al hugged them both even though he was twice their size.
Winry was still hugging them with a teary-eyed smile. "I know you always come home safe and sound, but what happens that one day when you don't?"
Ed was about to answer when he was interrupted by someone. "Boys, come inside. It's too chilly for you to just stand around out there."
Ed chuckled. "Hey, Pinako!"
"Long time no see!" Al chimed in.
"I guess I should get started on your arm and leg right away." Winry said as she closed the door behind them.
"Nah," Ed said. "Mustang said we should take it easy for a while, and I would rather wait to get my automail tuned-up."
Winry stomped her foot impatiently. "Ed! We need to get the hard stuff over with so you can relax!"
"How about you eat first and argue later?" Pinako led them into the kitchen where she had the table set for them all to eat. Of course, Al sat at the table to be polite but did not actually eat anything.
After dinner, Winry got started on Ed's automail. He screamed in pain and agony. He writhed against the bed which he lay upon. Winry knew it was hard for him, yet she also knew it had to be done. It didn't take long before his arm and leg were the right length.
Ed spent a few hours sleeping after the tune-up. He did not wake up until Al shook him from sleep.
"Ed," Al began slowly. "Pinako needs me to buy some supplies from the market, and I don't really want to go alone…"
Ed propped himself up on his arms even though he was still groggy with sleep. "What about Winry?"
"Winry wants us to have 'brotherly bonding time.'"
"'Bonding time'? Doesn't she know we spend literally every moment together?"
"Well…" Al nervously poked his fingers together. "She may have actually said that she was a lady, and that we shouldn't make the women do the work this late at night, and that it would help us become closer together through perseverance…"
"Oh, that's more like it. Say, it isn't that late, is it?"
"It's nine o'clock."
Ed unwilling got out of bed and got dressed. "Let's go, Al."
Ed, Al, and Den walked the long path to one of the only markets in Risembool. They passed a few farms along the way, all of which were well-known.
They reached the market and got Pinako's groceries without a hassle. It wasn't until they were about to check out when Al glanced over his brother's shoulders.
"Wow, Brother!" Al said enthusiastically. "Look at that girl behind you! She's gorgeous!"
"We came here to shop, not so you could check out girls, Al." Ed turned around, but his frown immediately pursed into a barely-there pout. A light blush tinted his cheeks. "Wow…"
The girl was about the same height as Ed with flowing, wavy brunette hair and large, dark brown eyes. She had a light sprinkling of freckles placed just so across her face. She wore a lengthy, blue dress with a white apron over it that accented her curvy, womanly figure. She was carefully selecting her apples with an extremely happy smile on her face.
Ed turned back to Al. "Do you dare me to go and talk to her?"
"Brother, it seems that you are already smitten with her!"
Ed's face turned a deep crimson. "Don't be silly, Al! A dare is supposed to be something you don't want to do!"
"It sure sounds like you want to talk to her to me! She's the perfect size for you!"
"Are you calling me small!?" Ed glared daggers into Al's steel frame.
"No-no!" Al waved his hands in emphasis. "I was just saying that you two would look nice together!"
"Together? I just want to—never mind! Do you dare me or not?"
"Sure, sure! I dare you to say hi to the girl and help her carry her basket."
Ed tried to walk casually over to the girl; however, every few steps he would shudder a bit. It was obvious that he was nervous. His palms were sweaty and his face was very red. Nonetheless he went up to her.
Without hesitating, Ed jumped right in. "You know, I like firm apples better than soft ones…" He grinned awkwardly and tried his best not to look flustered.
"Oh, thank you! Yes, I am inclined to agree." She smiled a pleasant smile. Her eyes flicked from the apples to Ed occasionally, never holding a long gaze.
"S-so do you need help carrying your basket?"
"I think I'm fine…thank you, though."
Ed frowned a little at this, but it did not deter his perseverance. "It just seemed too heavy for a fragile little flower like you. But no surprise, I'm wrong. You're quite able and strong, aren't you?"
The girl's jaw slacked slightly at his words, her mouth parting ever so slightly. This time, she did hold Ed's gaze. They stared at each other for a few seconds until the old cuckoo clock struck ten. The girl gasped.
"I'm sorry!" She said as a pale blush spread across her cheeks.
Ed didn't say anything, but he did allow his face to grow even redder than it was before. He looked to the ground.
"Anyway…" Her smile replaced itself on her face. "Would it be too bold of me to ask me your name and where you're from?"
"No, not at all!" Ed's blush faded a bit, and his smile returned aswell. "My name's Edward Elric. Over there in the armor"—Ed pointed towards Al who was watching with content, Al waved to them—"is my little brother Alphonse Elric! We're actually from here in Risembool. What about you?"
The girl returned Al's wave. "My name's Eliza Ritter. That's pretty cool that you're from Risembool!"
"Yeah, but it's kind of in the middle of nowhere."
"Ha ha, don't fret! I come from Balmora."
Ed's eyebrows knitted in confusion. "Balmora? Where is that located?"
Eliza answered without a second thought. "Well, let's just say it's deep in the mountains. No one knows where it is even if I try and explain it! But it doesn't matter; I don't stay there. It's far too isolated for me. I move from place to place."
"That's neat!"
After a few awkward seconds, Eliza placed an apple into her basket. "So, if the offer is still good, would you mind carrying my basket to my temporary home with me?"
"Certainly!" Edward took the basket and returned to the checkout with Al and Eliza.
"Al, this is Eliza." Ed said proudly.
"You don't have to introduce me, Brother. I heard the whole conversation!"
Eliza disregarded this and was more interested in Al's body. "I don't know why you wear a suit of armor, but it's so cool!"
If Al had a face, he would have probably been blushing. "Really? You think so? Thanks! You're so cute!"
Eliza grinned and said, "Thank you!"
Ed glared from Eliza's smiling face to Al's emotionless one. "That's enough, Al."
"But, Brother, I was ju—" Al was cut short by his brother.
"Anyway, I am going to help Eliza carry her basket home. You and Den take Pinako her stuff."
Den barked from where she was sitting by the counter as the cashier handed Al his receipt.
"Aw! What a cute dog!" Eliza exclaimed as she bent to pet Den.
"Thanks!" Al laughed. "But, Brother, do you really think that it's okay for you to go alone? Don't you want me to go with you?"
Ed crossed his arms. "No, Al! I won't be alone, and I think you're perfectly capable of getting to Winry's. Besides, Den is with you."
"Ed," Eliza began, "if it's too much trouble, you really don't have to…"
Ed impulsively itched the back of his head. "Nonsense! It's no trouble at all."
Eliza paid for her basket of goodies. Outside of the small store, the group chatted once more.
"My current home is up this way." Eliza pointed to the right where a small, daunting path lay ahead.
"Winry's is that way." Al said while pointing in the opposite direction. "Brother, are you sure you don't want me to go with you? We can bring Pinako her stuff after we finish with Eliza."
Ed huffed. "Let it be, Al. I am perfectly capable of walking Eliza home by myself."
Eliza sighed. "Ed, I have done this plenty of times, if Al wants you to go with him, then go."
"No. Al is going with Den, and I am going with you. I insist!"
After Ed shooed Al and Den away, him and Eliza began their journey. They walked for a couple minutes in a tense silence.
Eliza finally broke the silence. "We only have to go a bit farther, but it sure is dark."
The quietness returned. However, after a few more steps, Eliza tripped over a tree root that was hidden due to the darkness.
"Are you alright?" Ed inquired as he kneeled down beside her.
"I'm fine." Eliza sat and peered around her legs. Her knee was bleeding slightly. "It's just a scratch. I'll be alright. It sure is dark, though."
Ed didn't know what to do while they sat there. He wasn't sure if he should put his arm around her in comfort, insist that she get up and keep walking, or examine her wound more thoroughly. Instead, he went back to his roots of alchemy.
"I know what to do about the darkness!"
Eliza looked at him curiously as he clapped his hands together. Right before her eyes—without a transmutation circle—he created a lantern for the two of them to share.
"Woah." Eliza stared at him in awe. "A real alchemist. And you did that without a transmutation circle, too. I'm impressed!"
Ed chuckled in embarrassment and reached his arm out to pull her up. He was holding the basket in his left hand, so he extended his automail arm. Eliza took it and stood herself up.
"Is that…a mechanical arm you got there?"
"It's automail…I got into…an accident."
Eliza gaped at him. "That's amazing. I mean, it's not amazing that you got into an accident, but it's cool that your arm is automail."
"So, you're familiar with the craft, eh?"
Eliza took off his gloved and inspected it. "Well, not exactly. I just am very impressed with how difficult a metal arm is to make. I dabbled once, but I found very quickly that it was not for me."
Ed and Eliza talked the rest of the way to her house. Eliza learned a lot about Ed, and Ed learned quite a few things about her. Among other things, he learned that her favorite color was blue, she loved chocolate milk, she had a bit of a nerdy side, she had an older sister, and she was seventeen—two years older than Ed.
When they arrived at her house, Eliza opened the door.
"I don't lock it," he said.
"It's a cute house!" said Ed has he stood in front of the door holding her basket. He wasn't sure if he should go in or not.
Her house was small and quaint. It was very typical and nothing out of the ordinary. It was painted a light blue, and the trim of the windows were white. It only appeared to have two floors and perhaps a basement. There was a little garden full of wildflowers outlining the home.
"Oh, where are my manners?" She laughed. "Ed, come on in. I feel pretty comfortable around you, and you have a nice vibe. I know we just met, but this dress is filthy from when I fell. Do you mind if I change into something—I dunno—a little more…intimate?"
Ed's words caught in his throat, and he didn't know what to say. He stood there dumbfounded and eventually gave a small nod.
Eliza smiled and ran up stairs. Ed put the basket on the table and debated whether or not to wait for her on the couch. He ultimately decided she would be okay with it and relaxed on her sofa.
Finally, he heard the sound of her feet coming down the stairs. She bounced down the stairs wearing a sky-blue and black floral nightie. It was evident that she was not wearing a bra. It was very short, and he could see a hint of the lacy white panties she wore underneath. The nightgown was extremely form-fitting and exposed her flat stomach and decently widened hips. It showed all of her shapely beauty.
Her hair was still down, but it seemed that she teased it because it looked wilder than it had at the store. She also had the faintest brush of eyeliner along her chocolate eyes, and a deep-mahogany lipstick covering her full lips.
Ed's eyes widened at the sight of her. His mouth fell open, and a blush painted his cheeks. He unconsciously started to tap his fingers on the seat next to him out of a nervous anticipation.
Eliza noticed his staring and spun around to give him a full view. "Do you like what you see?"
Ed slowly tilted his head up and down. She sat next to him on the couch
Eliza looked him right in the eyes. Breathlessly, she whispered to him, "Ed, I know this is extremely daring of me, but I want you." She leaned in and pecked him on the lips. Immediately, it hit her about what she was doing. She pulled back, this time with a blush on her cheeks. She refused to look at Ed.
Ed was also still blushing. His heart was beating faster than it ever was before. "No…no I want this, too." He took her hands and kissed them.
"Ed,"—she slowly turned back to him—"it's not just on a physical level. Please know that. It's emotionally, too. I have never met someone whom I've connected with like this. And, I know this is sudden, but I want to be with you, Ed. As it is, I want to be with you forever. I mean, but we hardly know each other! That's not weird, right? I'm not weird, am I? No, this is weird. I'm weird."
"Enough!" Ed stopped her as he kissed her again. It was short and sweet, but his point was made. "You're definitely not weird. And if you're weird, I'm weird. I want to be with you, too. Do you, uh, do you want to be my girlfriend?"
She didn't answer right away, and Ed grew even more embarrassed while waiting. Finally, she said, "Yes! Sure, Ed! I have actually never had a significant man in my life.
Ed smiled and kissed her again. "I haven't either. I mean, you just gave me my first kiss. Ha, ha. But, just so you know, like I said, I am a State Alchemist and my commander always sends me to jobs on a moment's notice."
"That's fine, Ed. I understand. Just, please. Let me go with you. I'll go anywhere with you. I just want to be with you!"
With that, she kissed him again, but this kiss was long and sensual. He rubbed her hands with his fingers.
They pulled back, and Eliza immediately took off both of his gloves. She put his hands down, and he placed his flesh arm on her face to pull her closer. This time they kissed, however, he ran his tongue along her bottom lip to ask for entrance. She allowed him access right away.
His tongue explored the moist cavern that was Eliza's mouth. She moaned into the kiss and put her left hand on the back of Ed's head while the right one undid his braid. Without realizing it, Ed took his hand away from her face and placed it on her thigh, rubbing up and down.
When the need for air became too much, they parted for a brief moment to catch their breath.
"Wow…" Eliza breathed out before Ed ravished her mouth again
This time, however, was far fiercer than their last. Ed's hand instinctively roamed up Eliza's sides, under her nightie, and started to fondle her ample breasts. Eliza gasped, and Ed stopped moving in his hand in fear he had done something wrong.
Instead, she pushed him so he was lying on the couch and straddled him. Ed instantly became light headed when Eliza started to unbutton his shirt…
Their love-making lasted long into the night.
Down here I wrote something like, "I will upload the new chapter after I feed my bunnies."
